Posted February 27, 20232 yr Hi guys, Was at dinner with my friend and she's been trying to track down a song from, she says 2013'ish but I reckon it could be anytime from 2010 ( as she says it used to get played along with Edward Maya's Stereo Love). I thought of this forum first as you lot are very engaging and helpful. The only bits of info she gave me is that it's a non-English song (she couldn't tell more than that, like which language), dance/electronica'ish and the video features 3 women walking around Paris, she believes she hears the word "amour". I know it's not a lot of info. I scoured through the UK NOW tracklistings of that time but couldn't find any. Thanks!
February 27, 20232 yr Author Thanks, but apparently it’s not. She has more info on the video: “ This song video had a story. More of it is coming back to me now - the three women singers standing near different monuments in Paris were singing about someone's tragic life. The guy n girl broke up, then the guy died n became an angel with dark wings n then something happened in the ending. Don't remember tht well. Maybe the dark angel became good. It'll come to me sometime hopefully”
February 27, 20232 yr Thought it might have been Stromae - Alors en Danse but the video isn't like you described!
February 28, 20232 yr First thing that comes to mind is this but I will see if there is a better song that fits the description: K5KAc5CoCuk
February 28, 20232 yr xYmWLakvgIY The video sounds like this one but it's from 2006 and I doubt it'd still be playing in 2010-2013 after 'Stereo Love'
February 28, 20232 yr Try asking her what sort of sound the song was, it might help narrow down the genre. Was it upbeat and dancey? Or was it an emotive ballad? The way you described it as similar to Edward Maya made me think it might be something played at clubs at the time, was it quite a commercially popular song and was it widely known to a UK audience which is generally what most of this forum would associate music from that era from? Every little helps. ^_^

February 28, 20232 yr Author but what language was it? French? yeah, I asked her and all she said was "it wasn't in English" and said it maybe French or Polish or E European (and I'm thinking wth - french sounds so different from the other mentioned languages)
