Siobhan is immune to botox
Interesting it was recorded back in December, so before most of their summer shows have been announced. Really nice to hear Siobhan talk about life and the band and her world outside of the band. Even on things like where she said that in the past she’s been on Beta-blockers super casual. It’s nice to hear these moments

Nice to hear that she's appreciative of her solo music and doesn't regard it as a "failure" - she seemed pretty bummed when Ghosts bombed, which of course led to her exit from the music industry. Miles Leonard (former Parlophone exec that signed her) apparently texted her during co-vid about having to stop the car when it came on to listen through it in its entirety, so it's not forgotten at least.
Lovely to hear that everyone (including me!!) bringing Ghosts to the M&G for her to sign was quite healing for her and part of her moving past thinking her solo career was a „failure“. In particular Ghosts was a f***ing masterpiece and it’s legacy defo outlived it’s Chart placing

Honestly absolutely loved this. It’s a really great chat between the two of them with some lovely insights into Siobhan and it’s absolutely always lovely to just hear her cackle away

Would be down for a SEB/Sugababes gig

Omg Siobhan telling SEB of the surprise drop!!!

Yeah, it was kind of funny first hearing her dancing around the topic, only to ask when the podcast was being released before talking about it (it was recorded after their National Lottery NYE show performance, so I guess November / December).

Nothing new really - the Glastonbury gig really seems to have opened the floodgates for them, especially it having to be closed off since nobody really expected that much interest in them. The other thing I noticed was when she talked about her first pregnancy, which was around 2016/17, she really talks like she was completely away from the industry (and decorating nurseries - despite no experience in interior decorating!). It just goes to show you how dangerously close they must've been for a while to call it quits, which is understandable. I'm glad they pushed through, but it must've been frustrating.

I love the SEB interviews — the format and her way of making the dialogues put up a different angle on what they do. It feels very warm and friendly, yet raw and very sincere.

I had a very nice time listening to this in a plane.

Just finished listening to this and it was incredible. Love Siobhan!

It was great to see she’s starting to heal with Ghosts, it’s such an amazing album.

It was also such a great insight in what she’s been up to and doing now.

I love hearing Siobhan talk about her life and music. She has always been the missing puzzle piece to the Sugababes.
