GO GO GO is a smash in the making, oh my gosh!

Very different offering from her, the song is very POP. That being said, I like how she incorporated the poppier sounds into her sound and style.

That's not a sound I was expecting from her at all! I really like it though. Everything this era has been so good so far :cheeseblock:

I’m quite here now for a new Jorja album! Can see it performing decently maybes another top 3 for her?

I still think she’s yet to really peak. I feel like we’ve seen shades of what we can expect success wise from her but I still suspect she’s yet to actually peak and the big “signature” type hit of hers is still to come. She’s a real talent.

‘Falling or flying’ is lovely but ‘GO GO GO’ is soooo good and deserves the success ‘Little Things’ got.

The album didn't really make a huge impression on me but I did like the song with J Hus and Broken Is The Man. The rest all felt a bit same old sadly.

‘She Feels’ and ‘Make sense’ are the two that stood out from the album tracks, though I agree a lot of it sounds like I’ve heard it all before.

The singles are by far the best songs on the album, especially ‘GO GO GO’ which is up there with the best she’s ever done for me.

Most of this album is a pretty disappointing slog unfortunately, the first 2 singles were both great and I like 'GO GO GO' too (her vocals sound a little off on it but it's a punchy enough song), but then the other 2 songs she dropped before the album didn't do a lot for me (I do really like the lyrics of 'Broken is the man' but the song is a bit dull) and that sadly ended up being more reflective of the rest of the album. I do however really like the last 2 songs so it at least ends on a high note, stellar production on both of them, especially 'Backwards' which is possibly my 2nd favourite song on the album overall after 'Little Things' (sad there is not a single other song on the album that explores the same sound as that). 'She Feels' and 'Try and fit in' are the only other album tracks that stood out to me at all (and the latter is practically an interlude). The J Hus feature sounded like a B Young song

Jorja Smith has announced a reimagined version of her 2023 album 'Falling Or Flying'.

'Falling Or Flying (Reimagined)' will arrive on May 3 and finds the singer-songwriter and her long-time band rerecording and re-working songs written for the original album.

Teasing the collection of stripped-back acoustic songs, Smith has shared the record's opener, Greatest Gift (Reimagined), a jazz-leaning reinterpretation of the original ska-infused track.
