I'm so fascinated by the way this is being played out. They saved extra releases for a random week and not to soften the 2nd week fall or the week it rose in the 50s or the week after to try and keep it rising.

To be honest it's not been a total flop. I'm sure it will scrape a Silver certification at least.

68.400 copies sold in 8 weeks...

Then yes, it's a flop.

At this rate, with 8 weeks, Boyz by Jesy had 110.000 copies sold. And it's not even certified silver yet...

So do not wait a certification for Don't Say Love before 2035 :lol:

This is a fair point but I think Leigh's second single will probably be a top 40 hit too (if she's fast at releasing it) and that could potentially boost Don't Say Love a little. She's also yet to perform on TV anywhere or do....anything to promote it much so I'd say it being top 75 in it's 8th week is a bit of an achievement. :lol:

This debut release was honestly soooo anticlimactic...

There's really no excuse for the lack of promotion beyond the first week. No performances, not even on Vevo or MTV YouTube channels... Instead, she decided to save her debut performance for an intimate gig with Capital?

I remember getting excited when the news came out that she was signed by Tap Management. Obviously still rooting for her and hoping the 2nd single gets a bigger push!

While it's sales are not good at least its waited around, if it can do that for a another while it will help make the sales look a bit better. Hopefully the 2nd single is stronger and can have some decent success.
