November 13, 20231 yr I’m on the fence, but this is turning out to be pretty bad. Terrible hosting, that reward challenge duel win would never happen on Survivor. WHY IS JOEL NARRATING EPISODES?! Lee’s voice grates my ears and they keep putting him front and centre. Ugh. There are a few here I like, but everything else is pretty bad honestly. If they can somehow edit Joel out of the show a bit more (a lot more actually he has not stopped talking this entire challenge I’m watching) this has potential to be salvaged maybe? This seems like it’s building up to be a longer season if they’re already swapping people around and not sending Castaways home already (I’m on Episode 5).
November 14, 20231 yr Argeed. It's been meh so far. Very amateur compared to the US, Aus and South Africa versions of Survivor. What's with the pop music and constant narrating. Maybe they were forced to do that with how dull the cast is
November 18, 20231 yr 8 episodes and not a THING has happened, I think every episode I’ve even able to call what’s happened. This sterile crap can’t be called Survivor tbh. Hopefully people start playing for themselves at merge and it gets good, but I doubt it, I feel it’s too late and the dynamics thag are ruining the game are set in stone.
November 19, 20231 yr 1. Christopher - 1-1-1-1- 2. Lee - 2-2-2-2- 3. Doug - 4-3-3-3- 4. Matthew - 6-7-4-4- 5. Tinuke - 11-11-6-5- 6. Nathan - 7-8-8-6- 7. Ashleigh - 17-10-10-7- 8. Jess - 3-4-5-8- 9. Laurence - 5-6-9-9- 10. Pegleg - 8-13-15-10- 11. Hannah - 10-12-11-11- 12. Leilani - 14-15-14-12- 13. Shai - 13-14-13-13- OUT Ren - 12-5-7-x Rachel - 9-9-12-x Rach - 15-16-x Sabrina - 16-x Richard - 18-x Christopher trying to throw that challenge this week... what a mess Quite a disappointing elimination in last night's episode (Leilani and co's reaction to it being quite something, granted), but thank GOD for what happened in tonight's episode. If it had gone the other way that would have been very shit.
November 26, 20231 yr Ok now THIS is Survivor!! The game has really ramped up, Leilani and Tinuke are mothers.
November 26, 20231 yr Lee being gone is a huge relief, I couldn't stomach him at all, but I love that he's dragged Christopher and Ashleigh down with him :kink: Christopher's gameplay is so messy, definitely making good TV but he's pure chaos  Honestly think Leilani is my queen of the series x
November 26, 20231 yr Christopher is playing way too hard but it’s not like smart or guided, he’s kind of just drilling through in all directions and it will all collapse around him soon  Ashley thinks she has it all sewn up too but she’s just kind of behind Chris bulldozing things, both of them are definitely in trouble. My winner pick right now is Tinuke, she played smart this whole time and now that the game is in gear she’s got a bit of a head start I feel as her head is in the game rather than being shaken by things going from a tribal mindset to individual.
November 26, 20231 yr 1. Doug - 4-3-3-3-1- 2. Tinuke - 11-11-6-5-2- 3. Lee - 2-2-2-2-3- 4. Matthew - 6-7-4-4-4- 5. Nathan - 7-8-8-6-5- 6. Hannah - 10-12-11-11-6- 7. Christopher - 1-1-1-1-7- 8. Pegleg - 8-13-15-10-8- 9. Laurence - 5-6-9-9-9- 10. Leilani - 14-15-14-12-10- 11. Ashleigh - 17-10-10-7-11- OUT Shai - 13-14-13-13-x Jess - 3-4-5-8-x Ren - 12-5-7-x Rachel - 9-9-12-x Rach - 15-16-x Sabrina - 16-x Richard - 18-x Ashleigh was never that great at playing the game imo and Christopher ending up so far down a rabbit hole with her was just cringe so I'll be glad to see the back of him soon. Shame as he had been entertaining enough up to now and seemed to be playing the game well, but it's all crumbling to pieces. Hopefully next week they all unite again and vote him out. Dead at Pegleg saying 'use me as a name for votes' then being determined to win the immunity challenge, like wtf and Lee in tribal council was iconic :kink:
November 26, 20231 yr Thank goodness, had that Lee vote went the other way, I doubt I would have wanted to finish this season. Hopefully Leliani and Tinuke can keep the numbers on their side and get Pegleg and the others out. Doug is probably my pick to win at this point.
November 28, 20231 yr I’m glad it’s finally stepping up a gear and turning into the strategy gameshow that I expected at the start but it should not have taken this long! Part of it is probably due to the lack of these types of shows on British TV - the public are used to gameplayer being a bad word. If it wasn’t such an expensive show, I think it could have taken off with a couple more seasons. Sadly I very much doubt we’ll get that chance. There wasn’t the same problem with the Traitors as the strategy is feels more baked into the format and the majority of the players don’t need to be seen as gameplayers in the strategic sense. Joel’s live commentary is quite awkward and grating but I then think of the American alternative of soundbites of the contestants repeating the rules that we’ve just and narrating what we’ve just seen. I would happily listen take Joel over that x
November 30, 20231 yr Wrong Network, Wrong Host. I’m surprised the BBC fumbled this, the casting is god awful as well. There’s still so many people left too.
December 2, 20231 yr 1. Christopher - 1-1-1-1-7-1- 2. Doug - 4-3-3-3-1-2- 3. Matthew - 6-7-4-4-4-3- 4. Tinuke - 11-11-6-5-2-4- 5. Hannah - 10-12-11-11-6-5- 6. Nathan - 7-8-8-6-5-6- 7. Leilani - 14-15-14-12-10-9- OUT Ashleigh - 17-10-10-7-11-x Lee - 2-2-2-2-3-x Shai - 13-14-13-13-x Jess - 3-4-5-8-x Ren - 12-5-7-x Rachel - 9-9-12-x Rach - 15-16-x Sabrina - 16-x Richard - 18-x Kinda back to stanning Christopher after those two episodes  his gameplay is SO messy, but it's quite iconic. The way he was sat smiling during that tribal council when Tinuke was eliminated was EVERYTHING lmao! Tinuke made herself a massive target by spearheading the vote to get Doug out, and it backfired, so I'm kinda glad it ended up flipping on her. Having Doug and Tinuke going in one weekend was a big shock ngl, so like Tinuke said I'm kinda hoping Christopher makes it all the way to the end now just to piss them all off.
December 3, 20231 yr I can't stand Christopher, he's so arrogant for someone who's playing the messiest game so far, but he is certainly making amazing TV and shaking things up...! Justice for Tinuke though, our fallen queen x
December 3, 20231 yr Author Absolutely loving this! Despite the ratings, I hope they give it another chance next year.
December 3, 20231 yr I can't stand Christopher, he's so arrogant for someone who's playing the messiest game so far, but he is certainly making amazing TV and shaking things up...! Justice for Tinuke though, our fallen queen x Yeah I agree it’s annoying more than anything! I think it’s better than what was going on premerge but like… are they now just going to vote anyone who actually plays the game out? Which I guess is kiiind of valid, get the threats out, but it’s going to be a boring endgame when we’re left with Pegleg, Matthew and Laurence. Leilani SCREAMS 3rd place with 0 votes “goat” archetype who just ambles along bc nobody will bother to target her, mother x
December 9, 20231 yr 1. Christopher - 1-1-1-1-7-1-1- 2. Matthew - 6-7-4-4-4-3-2- 3. Hannah - 10-12-11-11-6-5-3- 4. Laurence - 5-6-9-9-9-7-4- 5. Pegleg - 8-13-15-10-8-8-5- 6. There's no way the jury are going to let Chris win, but him and Matthew working together this weekend has been pretty great, and thank god Nathan's finally gone. Hopefully next week we can finally be rid of Leilani (who has been insufferable since Day 1) before the final.
December 13, 20231 yr The Lock/Idol fiasco was the best thing to happen this season  I think Christopher and Leilani have the potential to get no votes at the end. Christopher has played a great “snake” game so far, loving him. He’s definitely one you will remember from this season. Those were better episodes, I just want this to end now tho. Unfortunately I think if Pegleg is at the end… ugh. He wins. I actually think I would prefer anyone else to win with exception of Hannah maybe. Edited December 13, 20231 yr by Aaron.
December 17, 20231 yr 1. Christopher - 1-1-1-1-7-1-1-1 2. Matthew - 6-7-4-4-4-3-2-2 3. Hannah - 10-12-11-11-6-5-3-3 4. Pegleg - 8-13-15-10-8-8-5-4 5. Leilani - 14-15-14-12-10-9-6-5 OUT Nathan - 7-8-8-6-5-6-7-x Laurence - 5-6-9-9-9-7-4-x Tinuke - 11-11-6-5-2-4-x Doug - 4-3-3-3-1-2-x Ashleigh - 17-10-10-7-11-x Lee - 2-2-2-2-3-x Shai - 13-14-13-13-x Jess - 3-4-5-8-x Ren - 12-5-7-x Rachel - 9-9-12-x Rach - 15-16-x Sabrina - 16-x Richard - 18-x What a great ending  I was rooting for Christopher to just go all the way and win it, especially managing to get those two immunity challenge wins right at the end (although I feel like even if he hadn't he'd have been kept around for the final three as someone that wouldn't pick up votes against the others). But... Matthew absolutely deserved to win. He's been a great gameplayer and competitor throughout and thank god people were able to see past the Tinuke/Nathan blindsides and appreciate it rather than be bitter to the end *cough* Tinuke *cough*
