This album rollout is a little messy IMO but I hope it works out for her.

Unfortunately, with Me, Myself & I doing literally nothing and cancelling the tour to explore "tv and film opportunities" this all screams that they know the album will bomb badly.

 

I hope it at least can achieve a decent peak, but it's looking rather bleak at the moment.

"MTJL" has dropped and ....it's awful lmao. The lyrics are so cringe worthy and gives me "Perfect To Me" / "Live More & Love More" teas.

 

They thought this was a good promo song for the album?

It definitely should have been a banger instead. It hasn't even hit the top 200 on iTunes.

Still think she should have released this album off the back of I wrote a song and called it I wrote an Album

I don’t think she was ever in contention for #1 if it was 15th or 29th.

Mae was doing acoustic shows with album signings but now these are without the album and she’s signing merch and album cards instead. This should give her a boost if she can sell them. The downside is she hasn’t sold out yet and people might choose to purchase the entry ticket and not the album if they can’t get the CD or vinyl signed. I don’t think she is doing HMV signings but there might not be the interest for that.

She was never going to get a #1 anyway. Besides, Sigala won’t be much competition for the top spots either, his debut only got to #14 and he has less hits this time around.

What sort of poor management does she have that they couldn't move the signings by 2 weeks. How can it even be advertised as an "album singing" 2 weeks before the album is out?!
