May 31, 20233 yr I kept pausing carelessly during my listenthrough but managed to time it so I finished listening at exactly 23:59 ddd. So got my votes in on time x Funnily enough I feel like these semis are kind of mirror images of each other - the first third of semi 1 and the last third of semi 2 are not great (with a couple of exceptions, not least my own entry x), but otherwise thought both semis were pretty strong! I'd have been happy to vote for 15 songs from semi 1 on first impressions. Think I had a fairly clear top 10 from semi 2 but still maybe 1 or 2 more points worthy songs there as well - wasn't actually ranking the semi 2 songs while listening whoops, I'll try and sneak in a relisten before results. The newbies are killing it in semi 1, these were easily my favourite entries to date from both Neliönoir and The Spodic Empire, I see they've both had DNQ predictions so let's not do that please. Also sending out some big hype for Jadakissnia, St. Burbia and - can't believe I've been conned into stanning a chanson(ish) song - FSR Rontvia.
