14th: Invisible Light

Votes against: 9/20

 

 

The third and final single from their third studio album Night Work, which features guest spoken-word vocals by actor Sir Ian McKellen. The song itself was cut down from its six-minute album length into a radio edit of four minutes in length, and features the vocals of Sir McKellen spoken through an actor portraying a hypnotist.

 

A tiebreaker will decide upon the song to finish 13th between Land Of A Thousand Words and Any Which Way which each received 7/20 in Round 2.

You can tell I'm really not a fan of their second era. :lol: (even though ironically 'Kiss You Off' is my favorite song of theirs!)

I'm not too certain what happens to the winner of the tiebreaker. Does it get a bye?

Yeah I think I buggered up the tiebreaker rule if it means one song effectively “skips” a round… maybe someone with the know how can correct my error! :P

I voted 'Any Which Way' but I ain't that keen on LOATW either so won't be too upset. Shame for 'Invisible Light' being out though :(
