My ReviewNow That’s What I Call Music! 110 aka Now 110 came out in time for the Christmas rush during 2021 midway through the COVID-19 pandemic. It featured 49 tracks including 2 UK #1 singles. Unlike so many preceding volumes, there have not been many artists featuring more than once from this volume, but Summer Walker appears to be the only artist to debut on this volume.

The main omission at this time was the long-awaited return of Adele who sprang to the top of the charts with her ballad Easy On Me. Elsewhere a rare opportunity was missed to include ABBA with new music, as well as other hits from Lil Nas X, Dave, Shouse, Ewan McVicar, Doja Cat and NEIKED to name a few.

At the time of this review, it is the only volume to feature music from BTS, Rain Radio, Jonasu, Jesy Nelson (as a solo artist), CKay, Digga D and Clinton Kane.

Artwork Rating: 6/10 Good

It is not the first time that a frozen scene has been depicted on a Winter volume, this one doesn't jump out as unique in too many ways, however, it is very detailed, and for that reason I didn't rate it less than a 6. It has an enchanted theme to it which I don't recall seeing before either.

Disc 1 Favourite: Ed Sheeran – Bad Habits

It isn't often I vote for the opening track on a disc as the best one, but this was such a fresh sound for Ed thanks to the production of Fred again.. and the longevity of it in the charts at the time was good.

Disc 2 Favourite: Sam Fender – Seventeen Going Under

It probably shouldn't have been tagged on the end of the disc to fill space due to it's continued chart streak since release and further success in the months following Now 110's release, but at least it was included, and it would go down as one of the most remembered songs of the decade so far.

Disc 3 Tracklist:

(A concept of what a third disc might look like if other hits from the era were used)

1. Adele – Easy On Me 3:45 {1}

2. ABBA – Don't Shut Me Down 3:56 {9}

3. Lil Nas X & Jack Harlow – INDUSTRY BABY 3:32 {3}

4. Drake feat. Lil Baby – Girls Want Girls 3:42 {2}

5. Doja Cat & The Weeknd – You Right 3:06 {9}

6. Pop Smoke feat. Dua Lipa – Demeanor 3:05 {14}

7. Dave feat. Stormzy – Clash 4:12 {2}

8. Ed Sheeran – Overpass Graffiti 3:57 {4}

9. BTS – Permission To Dance 3:08 {16}

10. Little Mix – Love (Sweet Love) 3:41 {33}

11. Mimi Webb – 24/5 2:38 {25}

12. NEIKED feat. Mae Muller & Polo G – Better Days 2:41 {32}

13. Shouse – Love Tonight [David Guetta Remix] 2:38 {18}

14. Ewan McVicar – Tell Me Something Good 4:10 {15}

15. BURNS – Talamanca 3:07 {53}

16. MENTIS feat. Kate Wild – Excuses 2:53 {49}

17. PinkPantheress – Pain 1:39 {35}

18. Camila Cabello – Don't Go Yet 2:45 {37}

19. Lorde – Mood Ring 3:46 {48}

20. Griff – One Night 2:47 {45}

21. Charli XCX – Good Ones 2:17 {44}

22. Benson Boone – GHOST TOWN 3:14 {46}

23. Bring Me The Horizon – Die4u 3:27 {41}

24. Måneskin – MAMMAMIA 3:07 {53}

25. Olivia Rodrigo – brutal 2:24 {DNC}

----------

Total time: 1:19:37

Overall Rating: 3/10 Extremely Poor

Due to the sheer fact that 13 of the tracks used to fill the discs did not even make it into the UK Singles Chart suggests there is a lot of room for other hits that deserved disc placement more, even if it meant more than one song such as the likes of Doja Cat and Lil Nas X had. I think the songs on the end of Disc 2 are so bad they shouldn't have been considered for this volume.

1. Ed Sheeran – Bad Habits

2. Sam Fender – Seventeen Going Under

3. Joel Corry x Jax Jones (feat. Charli XCX & Saweetie) – OUT OUT

Very poor edition for me. The cover is quite good though. My favourites were Becky Hill on Disc 1 and Steps on Disc 2, but it's not exactly my favourite song of theirs, it was just nice to see them appear and it's a very weak disc overall for me.

My top 5 are:

1. Joel Corry x Jax Jones (feat. Charli XCX & Saweetie) - OUT OUT

2. Becky Hill & Topic - My Heart Goes (La Di Da)

3. Lizzo (feat. Cardi B) - Rumors

4. Central Cee - Obsessed With You

5. Digga D & ArrDee - Wasted
