July 23, 20232 yr Hello! I'm surprised don't say love is as high as it is in its first month here. It's not terrible at least but it's nothing spectacular. Good climb for Kylie :cheer: it's amazing to see her get such a big hit (by her recent standards). I do wonder if her next single whatever it is can replicate this success? Nice climb for daylight as well. I adore this one still. Cruel Summer :cheeseblock: fantastic song finally getting it's deserved exposure. Dance the night took it's sweet ass time to grow on me but we're there now. It's so catchy! Hopefully a top 10 peak here and officially incoming. Good love is a bop! I'm glad to see that one enter! Fab chart ^_^
July 24, 20232 yr Hi Jordan, only just spotted this and realised I hadn't commented yet! 1. Luke Combs – Fast Car [21-1] Haven't heard this but I assume it's a country cover version of Tracy Chapman? 6. Zara Larsson – Can’t Tame Her [33-30-2-1-6] Oh dear, not a fan of any of your top 5 this month but Zara saves your top 10 :D 8. Loreen – Tattoo [3-8] 9. Jonas Brothers – Waffle House [38-9] Wow, look at that jump! It's a nice little song even if I prefer their last couple of eras. 10. Leigh-Anne – Don’t Say Love Coming for your next #1 I'm thinking? Such a shame this hasn't done better officially, I thought it would easily get a few weeks top 40. 11. Kylie Minogue – Padam Padam [40-11] Lovely to see this has grown on you, loving that jump! Hopefully top 5 next month at the very least. I still can't get over just how much of an unexpected hit this has become  I'm not expecting her to repeat its success with the next single but I am daring to hope it will at least do something. 13. Post Malone – Chemical [28-13-13] 14. Harry Styles – Satellite 15. Taylor Swift – Karma I assume you're deliberately charting the (far superior) solo version? She's usually quite astute with her features but I don't rate Ice Spice much on this. 18. Kelly Clarkson – Favorite Kind Of High This is quite a bop isn't it? Her catchiest chorus for ages! You can definitely tell Carly Rae Jepsen had a hand in writing it! 20. The Weeknd, Madonna & Playboy Carti – Popular This has really grown on me these last few weeks. I quite like Madonna's verse too! 22. Ed Sheeran – Eyes Closed [33-6-4-22] 23. Jordan Davis – Next Thing You Know Ooh another musical namesake of yours! Who's this then? 24. Jorja Smith – Little Things Definitely her best single for a while. It's a shame this looks like it will have to settle for that dreaded #11 peak, though at least it has become her biggest hit. 26. Kim Petras feat. Nicki Minaj – Alone Wasn't a big fan of this when I first heard it but it clicked a bit in the context of the album which I quite like (and surprised myself by doing so!) 28. Taylor Swift – Cruel Summer So happy this has become a belated hit! How's it doing in the US? Oh btw I'm one of the lucky ones who managed to get tickets to see her next year at Wembley :D my daughter is obsessed with Taylor so she's over the moon that we're going! 30. Anne-Marie feat. Shania Twain – Unhealthy One of the more unexpected collabs of the year! Great song too! 31. Dua Lipa – Dance The Night This is nothing amazing but it's nice to have a soundtrack single while we wait for her next album. The whole Barbie soundtrack sounds pretty good tbh! 32. Calvin Harris & Ellie Goulding – Miracle [24-16-12-32] 33. Hannah Laing & RoRo – Good Love 35. Conan Gray – Never Ending Song I'm predicting a big climb for this next time, based on your comment on my chart ;) Some great climbs this month!

Post Malone – Chemical [28-13-13] 14. Harry Styles – Satellite time they went for Grapefruit as the next single, or Daydreaming, this under-performed sadly :( 15. Taylor Swift – Karma 19. David Kushner – Daylight [34-26-19] 20. The Weeknd, Madonna & Playboy Carti – Popular 27. Megan Moroney – Tennessee Orange [39-27] 28. Taylor Swift – Cruel Summer :yahoo: great record this one 29. Conan Gray – Never Ending Song :yahoo: Almost entered this into BJSC as no-one seemed to be liking it! Very 1980's OMD-sounding 39. Mae Stephens – If We Ever Broke Up [31-3-1-8-39] Hi Jordan! :) Hope all is good with you, and I always forget to say thanks to the personal charts team for all the hard work sorting it every week, so I'll add it here! Thanks! :) Great chart, as always a very cross-genres mix of everything. When I get more time I must start seeing what's playing on US radio, it's been a loooong time since I listened in (though obv Hot 100 is a clue  ). All being well I will be doing Florida again with my niece's family next year so I can see if the oldies station which was 60's/early 70's music in the 90's, is now 90's /early 00's  B-)
July 31, 20232 yr Getting round to this finally as I read it last week, as your new monthly one will be imminent :P 1. Luke Combs – Fast Car [21-1] not too bad but not one I'm inclined to listen on my own accord really. 2. Lil Durk feat. J. Cole – All My Life [5-2] 6. Zara Larsson – Can’t Tame Her [33-30-2-1-6] 8. Loreen – Tattoo [3-8] 10. Leigh-Anne – Don’t Say Love 11. Kylie Minogue – Padam Padam [40-11] slayed for Kylie although am a bit bored of it for now. 13. Post Malone – Chemical [28-13-13] never did chart this but it's alright. 14. Harry Styles – Satellite likewise 15. Taylor Swift – Karma 18. Kelly Clarkson – Favorite Kind Of High Oops flopping here as I haven't ever heard this or Kelly's new material this year eep 19. David Kushner – Daylight [34-26-19] 20. The Weeknd, Madonna & Playboy Carti – Popular 24. Jorja Smith – Little Things haven't made my mind up if I'm into this or not. I liked 'Blue Lights' and 'Be Honest' from her though. 25. Doja Cat – Attention this hasn't made much of an impression on me either, maybe one that'll grow if I listened to it more. 28. Taylor Swift – Cruel Summer 29. Rudimental, Charlotte Plank & Vibe Chemistry – Dancing Is Healing 30. Anne-Marie feat. Shania Twain – Unhealthy Anne-Marie's best in yonks, shame it looks not to peak higher than that Guetta mess oops. 31. Dua Lipa – Dance The Night good for her going top 5 in the end thanks to the Barbie boost but I'm not into this much now lol 32. Calvin Harris & Ellie Goulding – Miracle [24-16-12-32] 33. Hannah Laing & RoRo – Good Love 34. Fifty Fifty – Cupid [35-34] 37. Joseph – Fireworks nice to see Joseph making an appearance as an singer now :o ;) fab chart :D

Fab chart ^_^Hi James! Oh 'Don't Say Love' is perfect, I do think it's spectacular  That said, it's looking to drop pretty hard on my next chart. Also looking forward to Kylie's next single (something I never thought I'd say) and seeing how it does in the charts! Agreed with 'Dance The Night', I figured it would grow on me eventually  Not sure if it'll be top 10 for me but at least it is in the UK. Thanks for commenting :D Hi Jordan, only just spotted this and realised I hadn't commented yet! 1. Conan Gray – Never Ending Song I'm predicting a big climb for this next time, based on your comment on my chart ;) Some great climbs this month!Hi Mango! 1. Yes! If you're not too loyal to the original I think it's a really good cover. Peaked at #2 so far in the US so pretty much mirroring what Jonas Blue's cover did in the UK ;) 6. Oops! Better luck next time... 9. Yeah, this era actually turned out to be not half-bad IMO! 10. I agree, a huge shame :( Definitely not my next #1 though I'm afraid, quite the opposite in fact. 11. Oh I always liked it, just been listening to it more and it hasn't got old for me yet! I too am daring to hope the next single will do something :D 15. Yes, I deliberately charted the original, the Ice Spice version is one of the worst decisions she's made as far as collabs :( 18. I either forgot or didn't know that Carly co-wrote it, but it makes total sense, I can definitely imagine her recording it! 20. Same! 23. Probably the same namesake you saw when I charted his previous single  He's opening for Dierks Bentley on tour so I actually saw him live back in June! 24. I agree, but has it become bigger than 'Be Honest' already? :o 26. I wasn't either and then it clicked for me too. I'm surprised to have charted it this high! 28. Wow, congratulations!!!! That has scored you a lot of dad points I'm sure! This has got to #6 in the US so still not as high as its UK peak :o 31. I agree! I could really use a new Dua album soon, now that you mention it. 35. Oh no, I might have to dash your hopes again :( Thanks for commenting! :D Hi Jordan! :) 1. Luke Combs – Fast Car [21-1] getting airplay over here this one 4. Switch Disco & Ella Henderson – React [15-7-4] doing well here! 5. Old Dominion – Memory Lane [11-5] pleasant track 11. Glad you listened to and liked 'Memory Lane' and 'Goodbye Ole Me'! I'd have thought a Conan Gray song would be veto territory actually :o Interesting, the oldies station around me has definitely evolved just in my lifetime. Not in the 90s yet but it is playing the 80s which is jarring enough! I wouldn't be surprised at all if others are playing the 90s and 2000s. Thanks for commenting :D Getting round to this finally as I read it last week, as your new monthly one will be imminent :P 1. WHAT stop what you're doing right now and go listen to her album!!! 24. This is easily up there for me, with 'Blue Lights' probably still my fave  25. It definitely got my attention (no pun intended) being so different from her, maybe the general public thought it was too different  30. I still prefer 'Psycho' tbh  31. It still sounds like a Future Nostalgia reject to be fair :kink: 37. I'll have you know I've sent Joseph to BJSC not once, but twice!! Thanks for commenting:D
