I get not liking Taylor but to call her talentless is a stretch, and even more of a stretch to call the biggest artist currently in maybe the world a nobody. It's not a fake #1 either and if it was combined....it would still be #1 with even more sales? Lmao She re-recorded the album's due to her master's being sold, and also has a lot of new songs. So it's not like it's a lazy attempt at getting a #1 or anything, at least she's getting actual sales unlike The Weekend. Normalise just saying something isn't for you instead of discrediting their success altogether 😭

I think it's just one of those songs that has become ingrained in British culture. It's always played at clubs, parties etc.

July 10, 20232 yr It would be her 9th even if you don't count the re-recordings separately. The originals of both 'Fearless' and 'Speak Now' didn't get to #1.

Agreed, at least Madonna didn't have to resort to these dirty tactics to get her number one albums.
