October 18, 20231 yr She is coming across much better than I was expecting in the promo rounds. I think doing the US first was good for her as they are much more fun interviewers and it is less uptight and formal leading to Geri being the same. It is just a shame she is peddling a kids book, sigh.

She got closure but that coinmaster cheque was still calling. Let's be honest coinmaster is a shit stain on their legacy because of when it happened. If it had been during or before a tour or big project like the Walkers crisps adverts in 2019 then fair enough. But when you cant commit yourself enough to the band to do anything worthwhile in 4 years but still take a cheque using the bands image for a silly phone game. Yeah that goes beyond tacky.

This but also it is the fact that technically they DID have a project to promote at the time, Spice25 and they did f*** all for it whilst they did get together and promoted Coinmaster instead. It is a sure fire way to get the fans pissed off and it did work that way. They basically neglected promoting their own music AGAIN but were happy to do 4 or 5 shitty coinmaster adverts during that time. Like, talk about showing how little you care. And no, it wasnt all of them. Mel C at least did promo for Spice25, whilst the others basically did one instagram post and left it to die. Edited October 18, 20231 yr by Mr.X
October 28, 20231 yr London book signing was great - got there about 10.30 and was in the first group to meet Geri. She signed up to 2 copies of the new book and 1 item of merch plus a photo, she was having a chat with everyone too.
October 29, 20231 yr Her signings have been so well received all round. She’s such a sweetheart. She’s always lovely but it was so nice that she was taking time with everyone and having pictures too. She seems to be in her element with this release.
January 31, 20241 yr More clips of songs to tease fans that will unltimately never get released. Then when the book bombs all that will be is those low quality clips on Youtibe. Bookmark me. Turns out I gave her more credit than I should. The songs didn't even get a Youtube release.
