Tonight will be my first time there but like half of my upcoming gigs are here :lol:

 

 

I’m looking forward to it. I got to hear most of my favourites on her little mini tour last year where she played in a couple of broom closets. Interested to see if anything grows on me after this show in the way that The Power and Solid Gold did last year. And of course I’m barely containing my excitement for Believe Again (everyone other than me has been now so sod the spoiler tags)

I didn't have a moment this year like I did with The Power last year, where something fully clicked.

 

But the gig did make me realise what an epic track Back To Your Heart is, it really goes all the way off as a set highlight, which is impressive for a new song.

 

I still can't believe she hasn't gone anywhere near Hunters and the Wolves, nor have I ever heard anyone shout for it. It's such an overlooked epic in her catalogue, the sonic successor to the Mistaken Identity album and I'm amazed so many of her fans pay it complete dust. The most popular songs I always hear shouted for on the videos are Electric Storm (understandable, it's stunning), Heart Hypnotic (also understandable as it's her only real dance song), and You & You Alone (pretty song but I'm surprised it's as popular as it is).

Has a CD single been confirmed for this release yet? Thanks

Wings sounds incredible. Still my favourite of Deltas albums. And The River (already one of my like top 5 delta tracks) sounds insane on my speaker

I forgot about these. I probably need to revisit the Wings Of The Wild album. I think her debut is still my favourite. Her first four are really strong though, which is why I want to revisit Wings Of The Wild.

Also I kind of feel like we’re due a new single soon. Wasn’t there a new song she was performing on tour along with Back To Your Heart?

Not sure why but I clicked with Wings massively when it came out. It even replaced Three as my car CD for a while. For me it just feels so cohesive and I really love all the tracks on it

I think the new song was called Hearts On The Run. Would’ve thought it’d be released by now.
