This song!!!. It Grabbed me instantly.

 

Padam took a few listens before I fell in love, but Tension got me within 30 seconds. Totally sold

 

When the PP video arrived, for me, it was "Wow, she looks so great and so confident"

 

But this video is so hypnotic, yes she looks great and that self assured belief she has is clearly showing through, but their is so uch going on in the video, I'm watching it over and over and picking up new things everytime.

 

This deserves to be a top 10 hit, without a doubt

I feel the same way as Dandy* does that I'm charmed by this, it's great, but not sure how it will hold up in the long run. Much better than Padam Padam though. The video editing is SHOCKING though, but it is Sophie Muller so...
I'm honestly in shock at just how divided the fanbase is over this song! I mean each to their own, but it really feels to me like Kylie served a career highlight here and yet every other person is like "Meh, no thanks x"

 

Hopefully it grows for those who aren't keen so far. Literally every section of the song is stuck in my head.

Hopefully tension can get more playlist support which I think it will in the weeks ahead that will help it a long. With padam benefiting so much from tension I wonder could be close to top 60 on Friday.

Which it is usually a struggle for any mature woman huns due to playlists etc

I am hoping for 2-3k of download sales for Tension this week. Many saying it will do a lot more than PP but that song although it lost some sales on the Thursday did 4,600+ which included 2 versions top 10 on itunes selling loads and also the extended mix and also a 59p price reduction.

 

Tension 1 & 39 at moment . Lets hope it stays high and we see where it is in tomorrows update and then fans may rally

This is far superior to the awful Padam. Such a catchy and really interesting song. Very girls aloud in terms of structure as it feels like a few songs merged together. Love it

I was immediately thrilled with Tension. It’s a no-brainier, radio-friendly banger. Stunning work from Kylie, yet again.

 

I don’t think it’ll surprise anyone the way that Padam Padam did. But it is still fresh and original. I particularly love the 90s house piano jamming.

 

Her vocals sound really youthful and clear. The lyrics are fun and quirky … as is the video! Couldn’t be happier with it all.

 

Bring on the album!
