'Boyz' definitely had more international appeal presumably because of the Nicki feature (it briefly charted in the US and Canada plus a few other countries, enough to be in the global top 200 for a day, whereas 'Don't Say Love' only registered in the UK, Ireland and briefly Norway).

I also can't even begin to imagine how much money Jesy's label must have wasted on studio time with nothing coming to fruition.

Millions, easily

It debuted high for one week on the hype of being the first single from an ex band member who quit and swiftly plummeted afterwards.

It really was not a big hit lmao.

It did sink like a stone but don’t forget that the Xmas rush did contribute to the song falling like a stone after it peaked

Well this is rubbish, for the first 6 out of 7 weeks it was in the chart there wasn't a single Christmas song above it. And only a small handful on its 7th.

I think the fact 'Boyz' isn't even certified says it all.

It took years for Spice Girls fans to argue over who was the bigger solo flop, the fact Little Mix fans are doing it after 3 solo singles in total is not a good sign things are going well.

I mean Victoria’s so obvious there’s nothing to really argue about :kink:

Boyz went #4. It hardly sank like a stone

If you’re going to make a bad argument for a flop single can you at least be consistent.

WROOONG!!!

Eevery single song she released went top 10, ans she was HAMMERED by the press and STILL went top 10!! Her fiest single was a no.1, swlling 180K in its dirst week!!! She woulda beaten Kylie's Spinning Around, or Madonna a week later . Her second album was UNBELIEVABLY good, showing off her avant garde song writing tslents, ans she just lost confidence becsuse of the press snd douchenozzles ike Jonathan Ross. I'd like to see him tell a rspper or male singer without the biggest voice to quit. Absolute DOUCHE!!! His ego could power spaceships to MARS!!!

It's actually Mel B, by far.

It had nothing to do with Xmas music and more to do with it sounding like crap. :kink:

Give it a rest already! No amount of you trying to convince people that 'Out Of Your Mind' got to #1 will ever change the fact that it quite literally did not get to #1 (impressive though its sales were).

It's also pretty hard to argue against Victoria being easily the weakest vocalist of the group. Her talents are clearly much better utilised in the fashion world.

You're forgetting Ego Spice, "I'm the nee Shakespeare, me" Halliwell!!! Her vocals are essily rhe worst - very flat and out of tune. Victoria wss GREAT harmoniding. She has a rich, but deep, voice, that really helped give the Spicy Ladies' harmonies depth.

VB got thst no.1. MAMMOTH sales, and fighting against the entire press, and what is a no.1 but mammoth sales?! The press stole that no.1, so ir's hers fsir and square. She woulda been no.1 vs Kylie, Madonna, Alannis Morissette - you name it.

You need to hear Open Your Eyes, the album, and My Love Is Gor Real!!!

Mel C for the win and that's my final word on it until the next time the Spice Girls are randomly inserted into irrelevant discussion (tomorrow likely).

Adore U now #3 on Apple!! Olivia's tracks falling quite a bit already on Apple... #9 on Amazon

Tension #250 on Amazon now

The only thing I’m saying: “I Turn To You” is an absolute banger and is one of my all time favourite songs!
