Released in 2016 as the 3rd single of Different World, Alan released his final song of his original trilogy, Alone. It contained uncredited vocals by Swedish singer-songwriter Noonie Bao, who is well-known for her uncredited vocals in the Avicii & Nicky Romero collaboration. Although it's didn't chart in the UK Top 100, the song still had a massive chart performance by peaking at #1 in Norway, Finland, and Austria, #2 in Sweden, and #4 in Germany. The song is also certified Gold in Australia, Canada, and US, Silver in the UK, and 4x Platinum in his hometown. It has 660 million streams on Spotify, the 2nd most streamed AW song, and has been watched 1,3 billion times on YouTube!

Released in 2018 as the 5th single of Different World, Alan teamed up with Spain-born German singer-songwriter Au/Ra and Norwegian singer Tomine Harket. Au/Ra is the daughter of 1⁄2 York, Torsten Stenzel, while Harket is the daughter of a-ha lead singer Morten Harket. The song also went successful in Norway by peaking at #1. It also peaked at #93 in Canada, #6 in Finland, #32 in the Netherlands, #10 in Sweden, and #9 in Billboard Hot Dance / Electronic Songs 40. It has been streamed 540 million times on Spotify, becoming Alan’s 4th most-streamed song there, and it has 700 million viewers on YouTube. The song is pretty well-received at Buzzjack. It went through the community’s Record of the Decade semi-final 2 years ago and became an auto-qualifier (Top 35) last year.
