Shame it missed the top 10 because of the deadwood getting reset

Eh, only if you lump Sophie Ellis-Bextor in as "deadwood" (I know her song is obviously even older than the other resets but it's clearly a worthy song to receive one). cassö would have been ahead anyway even if he didn't get reset so it's only Taylor Swift, Tyla, Mitski and Sonny Fodera who jumped ahead of it because of the December ACR victim resets.

 

I know I'm in the minority but I'm actually glad this has been a bigger hit than 'Can't Tame Her', it's the best song either of these artists have done for a while imo. Kind of helps that it's basically a clone of one of Chris Brown's only good songs with the bonus of it not being Chris Brown.

Chris Brown is a shit but Beautiful People is a good track. This is a boring slab of nothingness, the fact it has outpeaked genuine bop Can't Tame Her is insane.

This would've been 1000x better had any Dutch / Scandinavian big room house DJ touched the song.

Still the same opinion as last September.

 

This is the kind of basic chords I've often encountered in a lot of modern big room songs. Making it tropical house / electropop just worsen it.
