September 15, 20231 yr Ooooh I didnt think of that hun I assumed a pop up exclusive of the tension album, the main thing for this store is to drive more album sales All the other products are just to help pay for it. September 16, 20231 yr I've heard apparently she's gonna be there herself popping in and out at the pop up shop. Taking that with a pinch of salt, but would be nice to see her and interact!
September 16, 20231 yr I’m sure she’ll be there at some points over the 3 days - it’s too much of a statement to have a shop on Regents Street and not attend. I’m planning to queue for opening day/time - not because I think Kylie will be there but I’m worried about any limited editions being dust if it leave it later, all the pop up shops in London have crazed resellers clearing the shelves for eBay.
September 16, 20231 yr Are pop up shops a thing then for musicians? Rolling Stones have a permanent one, others recently that I can think of - Harry Styles, Sam Fender, Dermott Kennedy, Billie Eilish, Elton John, Lewis Capaldi, Daughter, BTS, David Bowie.. lots of rock bands have them too, certainly not a new/unique thing but certainly a statement due to its location.
September 16, 20231 yr It's yet another sign they seem to be aiming to push the ambum really hard which is great. Part of me think tension might open with higher sales than we are expecting.
