In a surprise announcement UK rapper Nines has announced that the follow-up to his 4th studio album 'Crop Circle 2' will be released next month! This marks the shortest gap between Nines albums as 'Crop Circle 2' was only released in April this year.

A new record for the fastest time a rapper has gone from their 'final album' to the next album?
  • 2 weeks later...

Nines looks set to have the highest charting Daily Duppy this week, possibly reaching the top 20.

Previous Daily Duppy's to chart:

J Hus - Daily Duppy (#42, 2019)

Aitch - Daily Duppy (#99, 2019)

Fredo - Daily Duppy (#46, 2020)

Digga D - Daily Duppy, Pt. 1 (#59, 2020)

Young Adz - Daily Duppy (#44, 2021)

Central Cee - Daily Duppy (#35, 2022)

Bugzy Malone - Daily Duppy (#55, 2022)

Fredo - My Story (#82, 2023)

I actually didn't realise 'My Story' was just a re-titled Daily Duppy! Suppose it would have been a little confusing for him to release 2 freestyles with identical titles.

Probably! I fell into believing him saying that CC2 would be it, especially after listening to the Outro, but I'm not complaining that CC3 is coming haha. It's also worth mentioning Fredo said that the joint project with Nines that has been talked about for a while is dropping this year (likely not now but we'll see).

Anyway most interesting of the features on the tracklist of CC3 is Return of The Mack's very own Mark Morrison! Nines and Mark Morrison having a song together was NOT on my musical bingo card for 2023

This is set to be another #2 album for Nines! I wonder if two #2 albums in the same year is possibly a new record?

Things are also looking quite good on the single chart, 'Daily Duppy' is set to climb back to #23 and 'Only One' & 'I Do' are set to debut at #28 & #29 respectively. This would provide Skrapz, OURAA, Tunde & Mugzz with their first top 40 singles!

Glee Cast had 2 #2 albums in 2010 lol :magic:

Did have a feeling this was set up to be another #2 for him as it was obviously never going to be beating Drake (although it's closer than I'd have predicted so far).
