^ Thrilled that Mitski has a top 75 single to her name now in addition to the top 5 album this week *.*

I can see it being top 40 next week!

Great to see Doja stay at #1 in time for the 'Scarlet's release! It is crazy to see 'Calm Down' still in the top 40 a year and one week after it first hit the top 40!

As for the new entries, 'On My Love' feels very dated. I'm quite surprised that it did hit the top 40 tbh (It did chart on Spotify but only for one day and it only spent a few days on Apple between 200-100). It has been a long time coming but I'm very pleased to see 'Rave Out' hit the top 40, its basic but also bangs. 'I Remember Everything' is a really beautiful song, I also love the fact that we have the first good country song in the top 40 this year. 'DNA' is ok but the first half is very bland imo.

I would've never predicted that Chase & Status would have had a chart renaissance in 2023. 'Liquor and Cigarettes' is sounding especially good, it sounds like the perfect Autumn DnB banger and ArrDee is actually good one it. It is really cool to see Tyla get a breakthrough in the charts, I have followed her music for a little while now. I'm really pleased that SZA has another top 10 hit (and two more top 20 hits) to her name now since a lot of my favourite material from her never takes off sadly. 'Greedy' is basic but quite a refreshing sound from Tate McGee.

I'm also really pleased to see Burna Boy get a post album hit!
