Yes it does, fantastic that the trance revival has led to such a hit for an actual trance producer! Excellent song from Lucia, as soon as I saw it in the BJSC entries I thought it would do very well. Should have entered it myself really haha, but congrats on seeing its potential and backing it! The dust song grew on me through the competition - I really liked the music straight away but the spoken word vocals took some getting used to, though the chorus is quite an earworm! I liked the Vandal Moon song when I first heard it in June, but didn't end up saving it to my playlist for some reason, so was glad to be reacquainted with it! 'get him back!' has been bubbling under for me for a few weeks, the double meaning of the title is really clever. I like both, glad Olivia has had some more rock-leaning hits this era! I didn't expect to give 'Your Side Of Town' such a long run at #1, but it really is that good! Plenty of life left in it for a graceful decline. I also enjoy 'Prada', especially the chorus and post-chorus bit. Possibly some don't like how it sits with RAYE's own new material, which I could understand, but I like it on its own merits. Every chance of that in two days' time... 'Whisper' is another pretty instant tune from Patrick Topping and I like the 80s synth pop sounds on it too. Lots of quality in this BJSC edition, everything less than 3 years old down to 7 points in my final votes made it here, and Lucia was a deserved winner. Will probably stick with dance for my next entry but something I haven't charted yet, although one or two of the songs here might be tempting... 02 Great to be on board with a big commercial hit again, hope it goes Top 10 officially soon! 04 The 80s synth sound is a bit of a swerve for them, but I thought it suited them and has always been in their influences. 20 I discovered it from the 2020 round of this year's RotD! I made a playlist of the nominations I didn't know for the recent years, too late for voting but this was a standout. 29 Yeah a great BJSC entry from our host.
