Hi Jade!

Nice to see "Only In My Mind" debut in your chart, "Strangers" is still a grower for me, maybe it'll be the same for "Only In My Mind".

Also, it's interesting to see Sufjan Stevens with an mini album takeover, might need to listen to it at some point.

Great chart!

Take care.

Hey jade

Your side of town slipping. It's about to start descending on my own chart too. I am really gutted we won't have an album like this. It would be different for them.

I'm very happy to see only in my mind enter. I don't get the hype for strangers unfortunately. It's nice I guess but it's not #1 worthy. This one is superior in my opinion and hopefully it can become some sort of hit.

Have a good week ^_^

Hi Jade, that's a great new #1 which I've now charted as well! The middle eight was reminding me of something, Blondie - Atomic perhaps?

Nice to see Mr. Sosa with another new peak, and the House Of Harm song sounds really good! I also prefer 'Only In My Mind' to 'Strangers', though the latter is a refreshing #1 officially. Aw at some of those songs above ACRAZE in your BJSC votes being one-week wonders -_- maybe I sent it a month or two late for you. Going for something unknown this time anyway!

Hey Jade! :)

Glad to see 'Only In Mind' just about scraping the Top 40! Absolutely delighted about Kenya Grace hitting #1 in the UK last Friday with 'Strangers'.

Good chart!

02. Mitski - The Deal [04-03-01-02] - suppose I should give this a listen then as My Love Mine All Mine has been a steady grower for me the past few weeks

20. Tom Odell - Black Friday [28-22-20] - rather lovely song here surprisingly as I haven't been following him very closely

40. Kenya Grace - Only In My Mind - nice to have a follow-up from her so soon, she seems like a promising new act with this and Strangers

Hey Sergej!

'Strangers' is nice but 'Only In My Mind' definitely jumped out at me more straight away, so I do hope that can somehow be a hit too!

Sufjan's album is stunning - would highly recommend

Hey James!

Indeed it's starting to drop a bit more now. I'm happy 'Your Side Of Town' made it on to the latest Now album despite not being a hit - did hope it would as it seems perfect for their audience.

'Only In My Mind' is such a tune!! 'Strangers' is nice enough but doesn't really excite me in the same way. Still, it's cool that we've had so many back-to-back solo female chart toppers!

Roseglass sounds interesting oooooh

Glad you're also into it

Hey Jim!

I'm so pleased that you're a fan of 'All I Need' as well  I hadn't noticed the Blondie similarity before but now you point it out, there is a hint of it there for sure.

'Tamagotchi Fantasy' has really won me over <3 I regret not voting for it in ETOTW now  I'm happy to see the love for 'Roseglass' in this thread 🥰 I was a huge fan of the House of Harm entry that Persephonia sent to BJSC and they seem to be keeping up the quality ever since. I'm certainly not mad about 'Strangers' being an official #1 (especially when blocking 'Prada' in the process :kink: sorry RAYE) but yeah, definitely finding this follow-up to be more interesting. Oops :'( I find it so difficult to rank songs I know pre-contest amongst discoveries, I don't intentionally penalise or anything though - Vandal Moon did get 18 after all  but just shows how good the quality was when awarding yours 9 and also DJ_Dave 8 when they'd both charted here. Also, album bomb weeks here can be a bit brutal for drop-outs  anyway, hyped to hear your next entry!

Good chart!

Hey Piran! ^_^

:cheer: she definitely seems like one to watch. It's cool that she writes and produces her own stuff too!

Hey Dan! ^_^

Yes would definitely recommend more from Mitski's album if you like 'My Love Mine All Mine', although 'The Deal' is a bit more intense in its build up!

I'm similar with Tom Odell, but yeah, this one really is a beauty so I'm happy that it's taken off for him <3

I totally agree, we've had some dance acts breaking through with lacklustre follow-ups but I'm liking this new single even more than her big hit, so looking forward to more!
