Posted October 20, 20231 yr @1715344660015538381 Jon: "We've got some new songs for next year, [...] there's definitely gonna be new music in the new year" :cheeseblock: so excited, hopefully a new album *.*
October 20, 20231 yr Can’t see how they wouldn’t do an album. They are not going to achieve single success but they could have a decent charting and first week selling album ala Steps. Definitely rooting for them.
October 21, 20231 yr I’d presume that any new music will be done similarly to Steps return where vocals are more evenly spread.
October 31, 20231 yr Author Bradley has confirmed again via his Instagram story that new music is definitely coming :cheer:
December 11, 20231 yr Tina: Erm- Rachel: Potentially yeah- Jo: There will be new music next year, that's for definite!! Manifest it, Jo :cheeseblock:
December 11, 20231 yr It's not a Now United cover! S Club were given the song 20+ years ago but they didn't record it then. Now United's song has different verses and pre-choruses. It has more or less the same chorus with a slight lyric change and some melodical differences. So really, it seems to be the case that Simon Fuller dusted off the song for Now United who used the chorus and built a new song around it, whereas S Club recorded what was originally for them. I don't know whether it's the case that the S Club song is identical to what was given to them 20 years ago or if a few lyrics were changed. A definite new addition to the song is it ending with "always remember you". I'd say that this makes the Now United and S Club songs share some DNA, but strictly speaking S Club's song isn't a cover version.
