Their upcoming ultimate collection has a strange track listing but that may appeal more. I hope they take the multi formats route with the release.

bad tracklist, also only 1 song from their debut

and the tracklist of the vinyl is even worst

Apparently they picked their favourite songs for this. I would have preferred something more comprehensive as I didn’t get any of their last hits collections, which seem to go for silly money secondhand.

I’ve been reading their book and Keren said she’d gladly never perform I Want You Back again. I think they have quite fraught memories of that SAW era.

Bananarama celebrate four stunning decades of music with Glorious - The Ultimate Collection - 40 of their best loved tracks, chosen by Sara and Keren themselves.

Sara says, “We wanted this to be a unique collection, a celebration of all the twists and turns in our career. We compiled endless lists of songs, album tracks and hit singles and whittled it down to forty: our favourite tracks from the past four decades.”

Keren adds “I feel the collection of songs we have amassed over the last four decades hopefully speak for themselves… Putting the music together for this project... made me realise how much we have achieved.”

I can’t believe how expensive the 3cd set is on their website.

Disappointed to hear that as its a fave of mine as was most of their work with SAW.

Ha, I just asked someone to post it then realised that was just me being lazy so I posted it myself
Missing their first hit Na Na Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye is a huge omission too

I wonder why they dislike I Want You Back as it was very successful for them.

This release isn't intended to be all-encompassing. They've said that they wanted an album with their personal favourites on, so that's what they're delivering! They've had many other collections, so it's probably more interesting for them and the fans to have a release with a different spin on it. My impression of this release is that they want to shine a spotlight on the music from the duo years, more so than the numerous trio era hits.

I do like supernova.

Hope they promote the new Greatest Hits and get a performance somewhere on TV.

Their albums are always hard to predict but hopefully it can go top 40 for them.

I love the 2 new tracks but I can’t believe how expensive the physical editions are. £19.99 for 2cd deluxe is over the top.

The price is very steep, on Golden Discs here in Ireland its €25 for the cd and when you add shipping it makes it €30 which is very expensive.
