December 8, 20232 yr I’m still thinking I must be missing something in Greedy as the vocals sound really really awful to me but so many in here love it  I don't get it either, the song just makes me wish I was listening to Promiscuous instead
December 8, 20232 yr Author 12 | 23 | 4th week Sam Ryder You're Christmas To Me Non-album single Released: 7th November 2023 Label: F04 Records Chart Statistics NE (23/11/2023) | 88-50-23-12 Sales: 20k+ Certification: - Status: Standard Chart Ratio 00 Sales 40 Audio Streaming 00 Video Streaming Biography Sam Ryder’s soulful and spectacular voice blasts off like fireworks all throughout his pristine pop music. The Essex-based singer is a true 21st-century success story: after years of playing in rock and metal bands and trying to break into the songwriting game in Nashville, Ryder took to posting cover songs to the internet during the 2020 pandemic lockdowns, and quickly caught the attention of stars like Sia and Justin Bieber. In short order, he skyrocketed to social media stardom—and it’s not hard to hear why. Although 2019’s “Set You Free”, on which he showcased his impressive vocal acrobatics over soft guitar chimes, hinted at what was to come, his post-lockdown work is where he really shines. The soaring and impassioned “More” (2021) explores his metal influences, and The Sun’s Gonna Rise EP offers the best of his poignant originals thus far, such as the melancholy “Whirlwind” and the sun-blasted “July”. In 2022, he represented the UK at the Eurovision Song Contest with "Space Man". - Apple Music Top 100 Chart History 2022 02 SPACE MAN -1- 2022 77 Somebody -2- 2022 48 Living Without You (Sigala, David Guetta & Sam Ryder) 2022 41 Jingle Bells -OST- 2023 35 Mountain -NAS- 2023 12 You're Christmas To Me -NAS- 0 x #1 | 1 x Top 5 | 1 x Top 10 | 2 x Top 20 | 3 x Top 40 | 6 x Top 100 Social Media Sam Ryder http://i.imgur.com/1SERq1f.png
December 8, 20232 yr Author They're playing Underneath the Tree again etc (this is a bop, been in my head a bit this week, only heard it a couple of times!)
December 8, 20232 yr Shame Sam has missed the top 10, hope it can still get there! Guessing Areola will have missed the top 10 again.
December 8, 20232 yr Praying that Santa Tell Me has FINALLY reached the top 10 after spending many years just outside of it.
December 8, 20232 yr yay for Alexa spamming an actual original Christmas song this year, thanks Alexa. sounds decent enough on a first listen, think I'll wait for when it goes to Spotify to add it to my playlist though.
December 8, 20232 yr Sam's song is so great, definitely getting the CD single. I just wish it could have had this success organically. Dean Martin's sudden vault into the top 20 this year though...Nice song, classic artist, but come on, above Chris Rea/Elton/Wizzard etc? Proper established classics in this country? The Spotify playlist impact is at crazy levels now. Locally promoted playlists need to become more of a thing.

Instantly recognizable thanks to her signature ponytail, cat ears, babydoll dresses, and breezy self-confidence, her slyly sexual personal brand has, like that of the Spice Girls before her, become an iconic image of young female power. But Grande is more than a symbol: Over the course of several albums and scores of hit singles—beginning with 2013’s “The Way” (featuring Mac Miler) through The Weeknd-assisted “Love Me Harder” and “Break Free” (featuring Zedd)—she has consistently outshined her male collaborators and deftly parlayed her stardom into activism. An LGBTQ advocate and outspoken feminist (“I’m tired of living in a world where women are mostly referred to as a man’s past, present, or future PROPERTY,” she tweeted in 2016), she uses her platform to confront issues like misogyny, sexism, homophobia, and bullying, spreading a message of love over all. Nowhere was this more clear than in May 2017: After terrorists attacked her concert in Manchester, England, killing 22 and injuring hundreds, Grande continued her tour. "Perspective changes your life,” she told Beats 1’s Ebro Darden. "You want to stay in the moment and try not to give into fear, because obviously the whole point of finishing the tour was being there for my fans. You want to set the same example and keep going.” And that she did: Her Max Martin-produced smash “No Tears Left to Cry,” an escapist dance-floor triumph released a year after the attack, sends a message of hope and healing, with a dose of hear-me-roar attitude. - Apple Music Top 100 Chart History 2013 41 The Way (feat. December 8, 20232 yr I’m still thinking I must be missing something in Greedy as the vocals sound really really awful to me but so many in here love it  She sounds like a toddler moaning about not getting enough ice cream! Dreadful song IMO but loved here. 'Exes' better mind.
December 8, 20232 yr this song is never going top 10 is it? I suspect it'll be overtook by Andy Williams/Band Aid by the time Xmas shunts Jack Harlow and Noah Kahan out the top 10
