It's 2 weeks on top for Sebastian, sprawling, orchestral choir-ey and experimental for the time, and still wonderful Cockney Rebel giving Steve harley another number one that isn't called Make Me Smile (Come Up And See Me), but Kylie's back up to a new peak with Story, trying for that 3rd chart-topper off the album. Highest new entry at 19 is a very late entry for The Moody Blues Go Now, known it for 66 years or more but wasnt charting back then, so in tribute to a great lead vocal from the late Denny Laine, sadly dying this week. No Wings stuff here but loved all of the records he was involved in, and co-wrote with Paul McCartney. New at 84 though, his 1967 single Say You Don't Mind which I taped off the Singapore radio in 1970 and always liked, which explains why Colin Blunstone's great cover in 1972 topped my charts then.

New at 25, Argy and Omnya's ambitious dance instrumental Aria enters belatedly purely because I forgot to chart it 4 weeks ago when I bought it, doh! Lufthaus debut with a good Sophie and Robbie assist, so that's 27 years of solo Robbie. Shane McGowan died this week as well as Denny laine, and his Xmas classic is back with the wonderful late Kirsty as usual for the umpteenth time for the former chart-topper 36 years old this month. Madonna is another belated debut this week, Radio 2 played it and reminded me I never charted her cute version of Santa Baby in the late 80's, as I denied album tracks chart places back then. I bought the charity album it's on, lots of forgotten famous pop star goodies on it.

A new peak for Houdini yass. Fab song.

Good climb for bad woman. I do wish this could be a hit for her but I know it won't be.

It's good to see Prada finally enter albeit very late. Such a bop though.

Hey James! :)

Sadly 2 is as good as it gets for Story, but thats pretty good! Houdini not gonna pull a late UK chart-topper out of the hat like the Barbie one did, sadly, it is good though. Paloma's hit-making days long over sadly, not many long-timers have that sort of pulling power after 15 years, but she's still great. Prada is still growing on me, so I'll see how I get on with it over the next few weeks :)

Thanks for the comments as always!

Hi Jordan! :) Rizzard is a great word, never even knew it existed

Thanks for the picks, and comments, and yes I was happy Sebastian did so well, bit of an out-there entry so happy it didnt flop, and was very happy to see you win with a fab record shooting up my charts as I type. Very deserved win and long overdue! Biggest climber this week too, dance grooves are infectious. Yay! :cheer:

Gustaph was good in Eurovision but I like Already Know even more, bit of a tune! I'm interested to see what you will be entering in the January BJSC now it can automatically qualify! :yahoo:

C**kney Rebel is fab both 'Come Up And See Me' and 'Sebastian', I also know 'Mr Soft' but that's a bit disturbing and creepy!
