Im disappointed that none of made the official top 100, i was hoping beyond hope that at least 1 of them would stay in,

It seems that their old studio albums are a bit too niche to attract a huge amount of interest then, but I'm happy enough with them being #5, #6 and #7 in the vinyl chart! And honestly I'm just excited that they exist and that I own them, more so than particularly caring how they did in the chart. Presumably they'll be somewhere 101-200 but it could take a while for me to find out.

Interesting that Buzz started out higher in the mids but ended up being the lowest seller after a full week!

I always expected buzz to be the lowest selling of the 3 but I didnt think steptacular would be ahead of step one either.

I'm annoyed there wasn't a fourth release to nab that #8 position...

I think with vinyl alone it was just too niche. Had they spread them out and done re-releases for each as packages with a cassette and CD and some unreleased material then they would likely have managed to chart similarly to Girls Aloud or Sugababes re-releases.
Steptacular starting to emerge as their most popular album among fans when its done the best which reflects the original sales in that its their best selling studio album.

In the UK at least Step One is their best selling album. It's just that Steptacular peaked higher and achieved some better weekly sales figures... but then Step One had more longevity.

1,405,470 - Step One (November 2017)

1,292,466 - Steptacular (April 2017)

It would have been nice to get confirmation that Steptacular is over 1.3m now. I would be surprised if it isn't though, after 7 years!

Thanks for that info and I'm happy step one is ahead on sales and by a nice bit as for me it's by far the better album.

I'd say steptacular is over 1.3 million now easily enough and I wonder could step one eventually make 5 times platinum.

It already has a 5x platinum cert based on shipping. Same for Gold having a 4x platinum cert although it hasn't quite got to 1.2 million it's on 1.1 million.

The vinyls have done as well as I expected. I think they could have each been top 100 had they been released 1 at a time rather than all 3 albums at once as I'm sure most fans got 1 of each.

I get the sense that Steps will keep milking their fans (in a good way as they provide the content to justify it) that they didn't need to space out the 3 albums any way.

With a RSD vinyl coming already I don't think Steps fans will go the whole year without anything else to buy. I'm expecting a GH vinyl of some sort come the musical opening.

God I hope not I can’t afford anything else 🤣

I’d quite like a Light up the world vinyl so all their studio albums are out on vinyl but I’m content with just platinum collection being their GH on vinyl.

I welcome that the albums are finally on the market in vinyl format.

A chart reappearance on the back of the releases would have been hugely welcomed.
