I’m still agog that the Deeper Shade of Blue RSD vinyl has a guide price higher than the 3 studio album vinyl were!

It's crazy pricing in all honesty.

I wonder will H and Claires album ever make to vinyl, it would be nice if it happens someday.

10 days to go... I think I'll aim to get it even though it's very pricey for a physical single, just to secure it and not worry about it. Knowing my luck it'll be easy to find for months afterwards, and get a price cut. :kink:

Well, we've had Euphoria, Step One, Steptacular, Buzz - and will have Deeper Shade of Blue and My Wildest Dreams, all pressed by Fascination/Demon. So who knows, maybe they'll have a plan to do Another You Another Me as well?

 

The thing going against it, perhaps, is that all of those titles listed above (apart from Euphoria) belonged to Sony. Whereas H & Claire's album was released by WEA, which is Warner Music Group - a totally separate company to Sony. So there may not have been negotiations for that album.

 

I wonder if Gold: Greatest Hits will ever be pressed? That also belongs with Sony. The existence of Platinum Collection probably stands against it happening... but Gold is iconic to me, so I'd like to see it happen. I can't see it ever happening for The Ultimate Collection.

 

Steps own Light Up the World and I'd be surprised if they ever go to the trouble of putting it out on vinyl... but I would like it to be. It's still one of their studio albums even if it's not generally very well liked, and it would be nice to have every album pressed for the sake of completion.

 

While I'm going on about vinyl, I really would appreciate Tears on the Dancefloor being reissued. Whichever company they used to press them in 2017 did a bad job with them, they don't sound good when playing them. :(

I wouldn't mind Gold on vinyl since it is a classic Steps album but I'm not as fussed since we have The Platinum Collection. I would actually prefer Light Up The World so all their studio albums are on vinyl.

Yeah I am going to be giving it a miss sadly, will get it if it is reduced later on down the line.

I cant see Gold getting a vinyl release purely because of the platinum collection availability but i would like to see Gold on vinyl plus it was a huge seller for them, i agree the ultimate collection wont get a vinyl release but to be fair that album did far far better than i ever expected when it was released and i remember been so happy it went to number 1.

Light up the world, i agree i cant see steps putting in the effort and also i really dont think its something the fans are chomping at the bit for either.

Deeper shade of blue daylight robbery release day is almost upon us, fair play to anyone who buys it at these prices.

Clearly they know the interest is there and people will pay any price.

It's a lovely release if only it was less expensive.
