Enters the chart at #34 this week.

I was thinking earlier it's kind of mad that (Overdrive aside) Becky has never debuted higher than #20 in the chart. She does have longevity though and that's a really strong feat to have but she strikes me as so wildly popular that a Top 10 debut isn't too unreasonable?

Is she really that popular though? I think she just consistently makes music that fits nicely onto Apple Music playlists and is generally palatable to a large casual crowd but she doesn't strike me as someone who really has much of a fanbase.

Oh you're definitely right there that she's got a casual listener base. 17 million listeners on Spotify is impressive, as is half a million followers on both Instagram and TikTok. Third year in a row to be nominated for Best Dance Act at the BRITs too.

Top 40 debut isn't to be sniffed at and perhaps I'll just need to reside myself to her being a longevity act as opposed to garnering instant hits (which is no bad thing as I said before)

LOVING this, my favourite thing she’s done in ages. It’s still somewhat generic because it’s Becky Hill but it taps into something a little different but feels super anthemic.

Extended Mix

Before a 4:06 duration was a radio edit. Today It is considered extended

I hope that can help the song re-enter the top 40 next week

Rave Edit out tomorrow

It seems like It's just a sped-up version except voice is not pitched-up

Alcemist remix coming soon

As an interesting fact, I've noticed that Maur is also behind the production of Never Be Alone

Nice to see it back in the top 40 even if it hasn’t re-peaked and shame she won’t perform it at tonight BRITs as that would’ve helped it to gain a new peak
This feels like it's bombed

Seems as though it's all due to lack of Spotify support? Been hovering around the Top 10 on radio, Apple Music, iTunes, etc. for well over a month but has barely broken the Top 200 on Spotify. Has been high up on Shazam as well so it's clearly connecting with people. Really unfortunate.

Up to #17 in this week's midweeks so should hopefully achieve a new peak, but not sure how much further it will get.
