'It Ain't Over' is a techno banger that deserved to get yet another BJSC medal for Kathaldazia, and 'She Swam Higher' is one of my favourite in-contest discoveries of the year. 'Weekends' was a great comeback from Freya - I'd forgotten someone sent that to the contest you hosted, suppose it took a while to become a hit but still, nice try :lol:

P!nk pops up at 40 with her 3rd release from TRUSTFALL in 'Runaway' and at 39 we see another BJSC hit from Samira with 'Like This, Like That' which is so incredibly catchy it puts her other entry to BJSC mere months later to shame as that was rather below mid oops/

'I Can See You' is next to drop out for Taylor and at 37 we have Minuit Machine with 'Contradictions' which was sent be me to BJSC in May. I already loved 'Don't Run From The Fire' a few years ago and they are generally an intriguingly cool act.

Going down a bit of trend with Minuit Machine just before and now ThxSoMuch! with 'SPIT IN MY FACE' which was a track that went viral at the top of 2023 but didn't go any further than 56 officially. Still a cool post punk/alternative rap track. Eurovision 2021 winners Måneskin rock up with their anthemic 'HONEY (ARE U COMING?)' at 35.

It's no two year top song for Tate this year as her pop bop 'greedy' finishes up at 30. Still going large in the charts it's still satisfying to see her get a sustained big hit officially that went as high as top 3!

Another big time bop from Coi Leray and 'Players' comes at 28. Was a big hit from the first half of the year and samples a 1982 Grandmaster Flash song called 'The Message'. There was a sped up version of the track too

'I like u' should do well in PFSC for whoever sent it, 'Bloodstream' was a fine follow-up to 'Game Of Love' and even turned up on Match Of The Day once, the rock direction worked a treat for Olivia ('bad idea, right? just missed my EOY 100), and I fully support the 'Tattoo' > 'Euphoria' hypothesis!

The highest Mimi Webb will likely ever appear on one of my EOY's unless she puts out something super song of the year potential that is... 'Red Flag's is easily her best single so of course it had to stall outside the official top 10 <_< mind you I did like 'House on Fire' too which made my Year End for 2022 albeit much lower down the top 100!

A song that was in my chart from the end of 2022 but also went into 2023 comes in the form of 'Rowdy' by Golin in at number 25. It is a certified banger and another Summericia entry as well
