Mm I was hoping for the Mean Girls songs to be world music-based/ African dream pop-based, like the original film's soundtrack, rather than modern tiktok-style pop.

 

This is just the lead single for the film that features in the credits, it was released before the film came out which is probs why this was confirmed over one of the in-movie songs that are from the Broadway musical
