Ariana has actually dropped to #2 on iTunes now, so can’t have had that big a lead in the first place. Still stuck at #3 on Apple Music and she’s 49+175 on Amazon. Spotify update today will be very interesting but initial signs are showing she may not be on for a #1 debut. I know she has physicals which will help but all depends how she holds up over the week.

Oh these may not be her highest U.K. debut numbers, but 11.2M worldwide is quite easily her biggest Global Spotify debut to date - previous highest was 8.9M for ‘Die For You (Remix)’ and solo 8.5M for ‘7 rings’, impressive all round

Comparing her debut to her thank u, next or 7 rings debut is pointless imo. Market is so much bigger now than it was in 2018/2019 so the numbers should be significantly higher by default

I think this sound more of a hit than ‘Positions’ which I actually forgot was no1 for so long it was so boring. This is more upbeat and sounds like pop in 2024 but I’m not a fan as it’s not my kinda music.
