I think it’s because Apple caters for more regional difference so new dance songs from British artists like Ella will get decent promo whereas Spotify seems to not support them as much.

the support for dance songs on HH/Spotify is very slow and never on day 1, they eventually add lots of dance tracks and do make them hits but takes months

Yeh so they have to be doing well before support kicks in!

Just checked Ariana’s shop - if the information there is correct, none of her physicals will be counted in either the First Look Chart or the Chart Update on Monday. We will start to see the impact on Wednesday’s update I guess - but some of the physicals will be dispatched even after that.

 

It looks like Sophie will end up ahead of Ariana on audio streams, and I doubt that Ariana will get enough physicals to bridge the gap between Sophie and Noah. Therefore, I imagine the number 1 will be Noah, a number 2 will be between Ariana and Sophie.
