What a huge jump for Kygo and Ava, great to see but they're not on Hot Hits yet... :o

Great to see Benson jumping back up nicely after the HH add! Especially as it's bafflingly absent from Apple's main playlist so has fallen a little there. #10 on Amazon though :cheer:

Sheesh Justin doing terrible

:w00t: :yahoo:

Hiss is #1 on US Apple Music, UK should take notes.

I think it could end up doing well just from word of mouth. It's all I'm seeing on social media but then that's catered to me I guess.

Is anyone really surprised that Justin, in his mid 40s and not from a streaming era, is not setting Spotify records?

The song is very clearly aimed at Radio 2 or Hot AC in the US. That is where is career will be now. I'm sure he will still shift a heck of a lot of tour tickets though.

I will say Ariana is holding up much better than I expected in the UK. She’s 12 US Spotify not even top 50 on Apple Music yet in the UK still top 5 in both bit bizarre since I thought it’d be the other way around.

Where was she going to drop to after two weeks on sale - 100k streams a day and out of the Spotify top 40!?

She was supposed to drop out of the top 20 in her second week remember xx

(people did call on here during its first week that it would probably hold up better in the UK than the US, house music has never really been that popular in the US)

Still cannot believe that Ice Spice song title is actually real. I thought it was a parody tweet the first time I saw it.

Not surprised at Justin making pretty limited noise, I do think 'Man Of The Woods' really damaged the hype around any future music from him, plus of course he's pretty much into the 'legacy artist' phase of his career at this point.

Megan Thee Stallion has now shown up at #180 on Apple Music.

An hit!

Re: JT, I don't think he's more legacy artist than Pink for instance who just got two top 20 hits from her latest album. And Say Something was a sizable streaming success reaching #15 in the UK (on Spotify).

That’s a fair comparison actually. P!nk’s last era was quite successful and well supported too.

but Trustfall was an incredible song, one of the best of the year, did well, but should been a 10 weeks at #1 thing if she was a hot streaming artist

maybe that's what JT needed, work with people like Fred Again...

Justin doing well on Apple, up to #34, with Skepta at #35

Megan-HISS at #145 now

by the way, Justin is #20 on Amazon...

He's doing great on AM WW, but not good on Spotify, cuz he got support on AM unlike the zero support on Spotify, I hope they will see it's getting great reception and start support it. It has a big potential to be a hit.

I mean it was #2 on NMF and that took it to #165 or something

even if for 1 day he got support and that didn't materialise in a good position

Not sure if it’s cos of the side of tiktok I’m on but I’m seeing loads of people talking about Megan’s song so seems like it’s starting to go viral

All he had is NMF, not just in the UK btw, and he won't peak on day 1, that's why I said more support = it will be a legitimate hit, I'm sure of that. You can see on AM all around the world the positions are way way way higher than Spotify, that's the difference.

Megan in at #92 on Spotify today! What a huge climb for a second day

so this Megan song is a diss track, thats why its gone viral
