March 7, 200718 yr Spoilers for epi 7+8 Just three episodes of Skins left now - and this week marks the beginning of the end for Tony in an episode focusing primarily on the character of Michelle. Following the "incident" she witnessed in Russia, Michelle decides to dump Tony, brand him a "dirty little f***er" and then hit him. She also tells Maxxie that he is a "dirty little $l*t" for his part in the charade - but Maxxie's feelings of guilt are finally relieved. Everyone slowly starts to shun Tony, including Sid, who finally gets a chance to go all the way with Michelle. Skins airs Thursdays at 10pm on E4 Bonus Skins gossip: Next week's eppy focuses on Effy, Tony's younger sister. It's a disturbing episode in places and, although I won't give too much away for now, expect to see Sid finally making his choice - one that could surprise - and Tony to be confronted with a seriously taboo topic. Skins airs Thursdays at 10pm on E4 Bit ewwwwish :o
March 8, 200718 yr This was good again tonight. :D Next week's didn't look as good though from that ad. :(
March 9, 200718 yr Next week's episode doesn't look all that inspired AT ALL. It seems to me they're going to bring in a total new scene [Effy's friends] and essentially confuse things. I wish they'd stick to the central group and actually use some of the other characters [away from Cassie, Sid, Michelle and Tony :arrr:] Hopefully the next epi isn't as "street" as it's making it out to be.
March 9, 200718 yr Episode 8 is based around Abigail too, another minor character :( Anyway this has been confirmed to be coming back for series 2; Channel 4 confirms more 'Skins' Channel 4 has confirmed it has commissioned another series of the E4 drama Skins. Writer and executive producer, Bryan Elsley will again work collaboratively with a team of young writers to pen ten new episodes. Series two will begin filming in the summer, on location in Bristol. Danny Cohen, head of E4 and factual entertainment, said: "I'm delighted with the creative and ratings success of Skins. It's an important milestone in our shift towards more high-quality homegrown content for E4." The programme has certainly been a ratings hit for the channel. Its first episode peaked at over 2 million viewers, making it the second highest rating programme in E4’s history, and the highest rating entertainment show broadcast on any digital channel in the whole of January. The series, currently airing every Thursday at 10pm on E4, is averaging 1.2 million viewers, with nearly half of its audience aged 16-34. Francis Hopkinson, senior commissioning editor for drama, said: "Skins has shown there is an appreciative audience for smart, young drama. It has become an important launch pad for new talent, both on and off the screen and the next series will continue this." Made by Company Pictures for E4, the show has been created by Elsley and Jamie Brittain, produced by Chris Clough, and executive produced by Elsley, Charlie Pattinson and George Faber. Source: Digital Spy Saw the trailer for epi 8 earlier, doesn't look as bad as I thought it was going to be, looks like someone could be dying :o
March 9, 200718 yr I loved last night's, Michelle was lots more intersting than I thought she would be, she's one of my favs
March 9, 200718 yr Last nights episode was good, better than I thought it would be at least. ^_^ Yeah, the last two episodes are away from the main 8, but the impression I got from the next trailer was that it would be about Tony's sister but will also feature loads on Tony. Saying that though, when Jal had the episode to herself we'd heard all of about three lines from her up until then.
March 9, 200718 yr Stopped watching this after the second or third episode and switched to Benidorm, has Skins got better? I wasn't sure about each one having their own episode, it moved a bit slow imo Edited March 9, 200718 yr by blade699

Saying that though, when Jal had the episode to herself we'd heard all of about three lines from her up until then. Didn't she have episode 2 or 3? Still its not as little as Maxxie who [in his shared episode] hadn't uttered more than a line in the past 6 episodes  and even in his own episode you didn't really learn much about his character. Hopefully in series 2 the writers will even out where the storylines focus and widen the range of characters who feature.
March 9, 200718 yr Maxxie and Anwar should've had seperate episodes... the Russia episode had just as much about the others as well. -_-
March 9, 200718 yr I've really liked the last two because there's been hardly any Cassie! wow! yeah! amazing
March 9, 200718 yr Aww no way Cassie's cool. B) I like... 1. Maxxie 2. Cassie 3. Chris 4. Jal 5. Sid 6. Anwar 7. Michelle 8. Tony. ^_^
