Wow! There's a lot of great stuff on NOW 120! Immediate thoughts: Tracks 1-7 being songs by the Pop Girls! Iconic! Brilliant! It's what we deserve! APT. is here! That follows "Gangam Style", "Gentle

Artwork for NOW 120 should either be a butterfly garden or chocolate Easter bunnies.

Or, if they try, they also can mimic the artwork for NOW 75 in South Africa.

They had Easter bunnies for Now 84 but not chocolate ones. It would make sense for them to announce Now 120 either tomorrow or next week

Is the release date before or after Easter this year?

They haven’t announced a release date yet but I hope it’s before Easter with how late Easter is this year. 25th April would be too late for it to be released. For the spring Nows, they should have a set release date of either last Friday in March or first or second Friday in April. Last Friday in April would be too late

Ultimately, it doesn't really matter, because whenever it's released the same circa-10,000 people will buy it on the first week as always.

Maybe in the days of high CD sales and corresponding with Easter holidays sales boosts these decisions actually meant something, but not anymore.

But also by releasing before Easter, more people will buy them to have music for the Easter getaway. If they do decide to release Now 120 on 25th April, that would be late and there won’t be many hits for Now 121 as they release the Summer Nows on the last Friday in July meaning that there will only be a 3 month period in between. That’s why in my opinion for Spring Nows, they should have set release dates of either last Friday in March, first Friday in April or second Friday in April and also, were due the next yearbook round the end of April or beginning of May and releasing Now 120 end of April will be too close to the next yearbook

I do agree that it would be nice to have the releases more evenly spaced out, every four months roughly (not sure I care about specifically fixed weeks though, as sometimes they might want to wait a week or two for a big license to become available). Summer Nows are usually quite strong anyway because you tend to get a lot of the year's biggest hits released in Q1 and Q2 these days.

But whatever the release date is, it won't make any difference to sales, the casual buyers have fallen away. It just sells to a core 10k who would be buying it if it was released the second week of April, the last week, or in mid May. I can't imagine many people even still have a CD player in their car to play it on the Easter getaway. I would imagine it will be out on 11th April though as it's quite unusual for it to come out after Easter.

Most old cars have CD players and most youngsters have CD players in their cars and they released 114 and 117 after Easter. I hope 120 is released before Easter with how late Easter is this year and I can see 123 being released after Easter seeing as Easter next year falls on 5th April

Most youngsters have smart phones too with streaming services like Spotify or Apple Music. Just as easy in an old car to hook up a bluetooth connection to a phone.

Most youngsters probably don't buy Now CDs or have CD players in their cars. I don't have one in my 2016 car, most just use Bluetooth/streaming now.

Either way, the market for people buying a numbered Now album specifically so they can play it in the CD player of their old car on an Easter getaway is probably not worth Now worrying about, the numbers will be so small.

I don’t have a CD player but I listen to them in my car as I have a USB stick to transfer it onto. I never had a CD player when I had my 2013 car. In other news, I know it’s early but I hope Now 122 gets released on 14th November because if it gets released on 21st November, it won’t top the compilation chart with Wicked part 2 being released on 21st November. Good job Now 119 was released a week earlier than usual as it would’ve joined Now 4 and Now 115 as the only numbered Nows that failed to top either the album chart or compilation chart

Also 12inch 80’s 1984 part 2 could be tomorrow announcement to

If they announce it tomorrow, it will most likely be released 18th April as they have announced some spin-offs 6 weeks prior to their release dates

NOW 120 or NOW 12" '80s: 1984 Part II are eyeing for an announcement tomorrow.

Reason I put the former here is because NOW 117 was announced on the first Friday of March last year.

I'd love either to be announced. The 12" Collection is becoming quite a fave of mine. Especially making Remixed Pop playlists; I have one with my fave mixes from each album and it all just flows so well.

As for NOW 120. I'm so excited which of our Pop Girlies/Divas make the cut. Ariana's "Defying Gravity", Chappell's "Pink Pony Club", Gaga's "Disease" & "Abracadabra", Sabrina's "Bed Chem" & "Busy Woman", JADE's "Fantasy", Tate McRae's "Sports Car", Perrie's "You Go Your Way" or maybe even "Rollercoaster". Kylie could make another appearance with her Alok collab, and I hope "Messy" and "APT." are licensable here in the UK. Some true girl power up for grabs this Volume.

I hope Apt makes the cut as they barely include K-Pop on their albums and I hope Kylie appears on Now 120. I’m surprised she didn’t appear on any of the 1998 yearbooks as she had a song go top 20 in 1998

I was surprised none of her Impossible Princess singles made the Yearbook/Extra either! I'm gonna act delusional and say she's being saved for "NOW Yearbook... Vault 1998".

Maybe APT. might appear due to it also being a Bruno Mars song and being on Atlantic Records for its worldwide release? Clutching at straws I know.

Fifty Fifty are K-Pop and they appeared on Now 115 so there could be a chance for Apt appearing on Now 120 and as for Kylie, they might include her on vault 1998 seeing as they’re now including top 20 songs on vaults
