I just hope that Kylie Minogue appears if she has a new song by then. I hope she hasn’t decided to become unlicensable. We’ll have to wait until we get the 1989 yearbook to see whether she appears or not

Why would she suddenly become unlicensable? Just because she did not appear on one volume despite not having a big hit since the last release? Alok has never appeared on a compilation before and that wasn't about to start now because of Kylie.

Wow! There's a lot of great stuff on NOW 120! Immediate thoughts: Tracks 1-7 being songs by the Pop Girls! Iconic! Brilliant! It's what we deserve! APT. is here! That follows "Gangam Style", "Gentle

He did appear on Now 119 with Under The Sun and The Blessed Madonna’s appearance on that album was mainly due to Kylie appearing and a lot of artists lately do all of a sudden decide to become unlicensable ie U2, ABBA. I’ve also figured something out about the release dates of spring Nows. They have set release dates of first Friday in April or second Friday in April if first Friday is Good Friday. With Good Friday falling on 3rd April next year, it means that Now 123 will most likely be released on 10th April and Now 126 being released on 2nd April and so forth

1985 in July will be better and I’m hoping that the next yearbook whether it’s announced next week or the week after is 1989

Pre-ordered the Clubland one. Not pinning my hopes on a shop stocking it as I had to go hunting for Yearbook 98 in a store so I want this one on release day

I've gone with Amazon, do you usually get auto-rip on compilations?

I’ve just noticed that Now 120 is the first Now album since Now 61 where no artists have multiple appearances on the album

On the odd occasion they do, but it's hit and miss. Now 119 had auto-rip for sure, but haven't had it on the recent spin-offs or Yearbooks I've ordered from there.

I also find Amazon release day delivery hit and miss with pre-orders. So generally I don't pre-order but I wait until midnight of release day and then they sometimes give you about an hour between 12 and 1am to order and get delivery later that day.

Now Presents Clubland isn’t available for pre-order on iTunes even though extra 1998 is

The best place for pre-orders for me is HMV. They usually dispatch when stock comes in, and because of that a lot of my CDs come Thursday instead of Friday.

I always check my local Asda for a Now album I want to buy expect for the yearbooks, vaults and millennium series as they sometimes stock them up the day before release

Now Jukebox Classics: True Love Ways out on 11th April. It’s basically a rehash of Now Jukebox Classics that was released last yearIMG_0596.jpegIMG_0595.jpeg

Money for old rope. It's like a license to print cash for them as these 50s and 60s songs are available very easily on budget albums.

I think the last one sold pretty well for them though (it hasn't left the top 100 compilation chart since it was released and soared back to No.3 in November when it was re-promoted) so I'm not surprised they're putting out a follow-up.

I expect Now 120 to block both 11th April releases from the top of the compilation chart

Seen on the Now fans page that the next announcement is expected to be the next yearbook with it rumoured to be 1989. I’ll be happy if 1989 does end up being the next yearbook

The usual absences of Madonna, MJ, Depeche Mode etc but this is a very solid effort.

A lot more cheese to fit on than usual so they've packed out the back end of a few of these discs.

Interested at the lack of Jive Bunny, only re-records of their big hits are available now, but Now have traditionally used those on compilations anyway.

If Mike + The Mechanics have done a Bruce Springsteen and decided to become licensable, I hope Silent Running and All I Need Is A Miracle make the 1985-1989 yearbooks and vault 1986 as well as Word Of Mouth making 1991 and Over My Shoulder making 1995 and as for Soul II Soul and Neneh Cherry, they should’ve said their lesser hits for the extra edition and I reckon the next yearbook after this will definitely be 70s and my guess is 1975
