We shall see. I do agree that the Now 116 opener from Calvin was a very bad pick and made me wonder if Disc 1, Track 1 was a licensing stipulation from Calvin in that case, which is what makes me think Blessings could also open this. In Germany, Calvin has kicked off Bravo Hits multiple times with very dubious choices that weren't even big hits there, including all of Smoke The Pain Away, Free and Lovers In A Past Life. I don't think they would be there unless there was some call for it from Calvin/the label.

If it's not Calvin then if there's a radio and chart smash/big name artist with a long-running hit to kick off with (like Azizam) then I believe they will take that option, like with George Ezra's Green Green Grass opening Now 112 over e.g. the huge summer No.1 from LF System further down.

Rayvn Lenae feels more like something they'd place a little lower than an opener to me, but if she does open the album then I will happily eat my words as I love the song.

Wow! There's a lot of great stuff on NOW 120! Immediate thoughts: Tracks 1-7 being songs by the Pop Girls! Iconic! Brilliant! It's what we deserve! APT. is here! That follows "Gangam Style", "Gentle

It’s ridiculous that they’d rather kick off with a big name rather than a big song by a new artist and if Ordinary wasn’t already on Now 120, then it would’ve been a certain disc 1 track 1 for Now 121 and Calvin has appeared a few times post-Now 116 without being track 1. He should’ve opened Now 101 instead of Little Mix

Afraid to Feel was robbed! But then also think as far back as Now 59 with that forgettable Blue song opening over Call On Me which was a few spots lower.

The "Now Voyager Mix" of The Source/Candi Staton is the correct mix for the year

They made a mistake including the new voyager edit (2006) for Now 90s Dancefloor and shame that version didn’t appear on Now Millennium 2006-2007. I just hope the original version makes one of the 1991 yearbooks and in other news, now that Taylor Swift owns her own music again, it makes me wonder if she’ll start appearing again on Now albums? Fingers crossed she does

I was starting to worry they were about to neglect the 80s for a minute, thank goodness.

There’s some songs on here that peaked in 1986. Saying that, it’s only the yearbooks where they go by the year it peaked. Nice to see Hit That Perfect Beat appear seeing as it missed both 1985 and 1986 yearbooks. I expect it to appear later on one of the 1985-1989 yearbooks

The single was on HITS 4 maybe a first for NOW?

It was on Hits 4 and it appeared on the spin-off Now 100 Hits Forgotten 80s. It also appears on the spin-off Now Dance '86. I expect some of those songs to pop up across parts 1 and 2 of 12" 1986 next year. I also wonder if West End Girls will pop up on part 2 in October. I reckon so as they only go by the year it was released for yearbooks and not really for 12" 80s

Sabrina Carpenter’s new song Manchild could reach number 1 on Friday seeing as it’s number 1 on Spotify and chart updates. If it does reach number 1, it could be a potential disc 1 track 1 if they decide to include it or if not, then they’ll save it for Now 122 and Now 121 will go without a number 1. I reckon they’ll include it so Now 121 has a number 1

I would love Manchild to kick of NOW 121, but I feel like her label/team will say no since the album isn't out yet. If it does though, that'd save the album having no Number 1s on it.

I have a feeling they’ll include it just to stop the album from having no number 1 singles and besides, Espresso was placed on Now 118 before Short N Sweet was released

Funny I could have sworn twilight zone was already on Now 120 but evidently I missed it from my tracklist prediction.

I'd also say there is room for the following to be included that are not in Hadji's prediction;

Sleep Token – Caramel

Benson Boone – Sorry I'm Here For Someone Else

Jorja Smith – The Way I Love You

PinkPantheress – Tonight

Addison Rae – Headphones On

Tate McRae – Revolving Door

Skye Newman – Hairdresser

Along with non-hits from Now faves such as Lana Del Rey, Zara Larsson, Lizzo, Sugababes, Jonas Brothers, Clean Bandit and other possible options.

Twilight Zone isn’t on Now 120. If Twilight Zone makes Now 121 which it most likely will, it will be the second song with that title to appear on a Now album with 21 in the title as the 2 Unlimited song with that title appears on Now 21. With Addison, it makes me wonder if they’ll include Headphones On on Now 121 and save Fame Is A Gun for Now 122 or skip straight to the latter for Now 121. Same goes with Skye, Benson and Sombr. It makes me wonder if their previous singles will be included on Now 121 with their current singles being saved for Now 122 or skip straight to their current singles for Now 121. I also wonder if Taylor Swift will start appearing again now she owns the rights to her own music? Also for time lengths, there would only be room for 49 songs in total

Next week and I see that Sam Fender has just released a new version of Rein Me In with Olivia Dean. I wonder if they’ll include it on Now 121 or save it for Now 122?

@Hadji since the releases of Yearbooks for 1989 + Extra... have you had an attempt at creating "The Final Chapter - 1985-1989" to coincide with the one they did for the first half of the decade? Plus that will have an Extra release too, so you're looking at seven discs in total with approximately 140 more songs from those 5 years that haven't featured so far on any other Yearbook?

It would take me ages to do a prediction but I’ve got a list of songs that missed out and could appear across both 1985-1989 yearbooks. I also wonder if 1985-1989 will be the next yearbook after extra 1997 at the end of August as an excuse for them to avoid doing a 70s yearbook?
