March 8, 20242 yr Author Last week they had Etta Marcus as Future Artist for March but curiously, they've now switched it to Hannah Laing  Wasn't expecting Usher to progress to the A-list! Don't they realise he's 45 now? :kink: Good to see Vampire Weekend still getting support, and that new Rudimental tune is pretty decent. Two songs featuring the word 'Alibi' in the title on the playlist concurrently... I'm assuming the last one was 'Mr Alibi' by Maria Willson in 2003, if that was playlisted!
March 8, 20242 yr A shame to see Yungblud, Catfish and Nothing but Thieves all stalling on the C List - I wonder why when they’re all usually A/B list artists! Good to see Dylan, Maggie Rogers and especially Sea Girls though - that’s my favourite track of theirs now!
March 8, 20242 yr Author It's early days for Catfish yet, they'll probably move up next week. Surprising with the other two though.
March 8, 20242 yr Two songs featuring the word 'Alibi' in the title on the playlist concurrently... I'm assuming the last one was 'Mr Alibi' by Maria Willson in 2003, if that was playlisted! I have a feeling the David Gray one in 2005/2006 might have been as I think he was a Radio 1 artist back then... but apparently only 6 songs have ever charted with that word in the title (including the current one by Rudimental + Ella)
March 8, 20242 yr Nice to see Vampire Weekend still getting Radio 1 support (also yay Charli moving up x).
March 8, 20242 yr Nice to see continued support for Vampire Weekend & Sea Girls! And Maggie Rogers is my favourite add ❤️, stand aside Ariana et Al, the true queen is here!!
