Shame Gina has disappeared off the face of the earth and seemingly had zero involvement in the reissue.

Most of the Cherry Red reissues the artists promote them on socials and do a signed element with pre-orders (Dannii, Shampoo etc.,)

I would have welcomed her doing some promotion or even post on social media as the release sold better than expected and something from the lady herself could have helped sell a few more

The deluxe was released digitally on Friday, a bit of a surprise, I thought it might remain exclusive to the CD! So lots of remixes now available and the "new" song Waiting on Your Love:

Great that they have released it digitally, i wonder will they do a release of her 2nd album some time in the future.

It's a pitty like others said that Gina herself hasn't got behind this release at all as most artists who get a cherry red reissue usually do get involved.

Gina seems to be completly waiting out of the public eye for a while now, id love to see her join some of tours that other 90s acts get involved with.

Can see Gina playing hoopla at some point!

I wish - she is seemingly totally not interested in her music career nowadays, she had no involvement in this release either.

Her music career was always an uphill battle due to contractual issues which may have made Gina decide enough.

Possibly, she does seem to have got rightly screwed over with the fresh era which really set her back on getting to her 2nd album which by the time it came interest was gone and it was a messy and limited release despite it been a decant album, her 2nd attempt at Eurovision failed as to be fair it was a weak song, id say she was banking on it doing better and maybe build her career again but sadly it didnt happen.

Do you think they picked the right order of singles from the album? Overall Fresh seems to be better received than i belong to you but i think chart wise it worked out the order they ran in.

Its a shame ti amo missed out on giving her a 4th straight top 10, i was so disappointed it went in at number 11, ti amo is still a great song and it was very different to everything else on the album.

I wouldn't be surprised if Fresh wasn't ready when I Belong To You was released as a single. I certainly prefer Fresh myself, it sounds less dated (and less like Ooh Aah...).

As I wasn't around at the time, what actually happened after the first album? They released loads of singles from it.

Were the label unsatisfied with how the album did and dropped her? Or was there some kind of drama that happened behind the scenes?

A complete disaster for Gina and issues arose very quickly.

I'm sure she still earns a few pound from Ooh Aah Just a Little Bit.

I sometimes wonder if no issues arose with contracts, management labels etc would she have been dropped after the album under performed. From reading different articles the album was expected to have sold far better than it did.

It's a huge shame though as I think its such a solid album with great songs outside the singles.

As we are coming off the back of Eurovision week again i was just thinking if Ooh aah just a little bit was part of the televoting/streaming era it really would have been mega huge, dont get me wrong it was a huge hit back in the day but i think it would have hit another level with how things work today.
