January 7, 200719 yr Weslife is exactly the type of music that sells ONLY on Christmas. I´ve not seen any of their albums charting high outside the Christmas period for ages. Definitely just a random gif to mummies. Well that is why they release one very year in November :P
January 7, 200719 yr A fair few other albums seem to be good christmas pressies judging by this chart, like The Beatles, Oasis, Scissor Sisters, U2....
January 7, 200719 yr Wonder why 'Mad World' has randomly re-entered for. How odd. its on an xbox advert, getting loads of play at the cinema.
January 7, 200719 yr I wonder if Queen fans are gutted that a 28 year old track "Don't Stop Me Now" has just failed to enter the singles charts (Top75)?
January 7, 200719 yr Top75 UK Singles 38 Nelly Furtado Maneater; Geffen 9859585 (U) actually would be cool if the mad two of us old bloke/jocelyn brown version would chart next week
January 7, 200719 yr Girls Aloud's Sound of the Underground has made it to 20 weeks in the top 75! Woo Hoo!!!
January 7, 200719 yr A fair few other albums seem to be good christmas pressies judging by this chart, like The Beatles, Oasis, Scissor Sisters, U2.... But they remain selling after december is over... Unlike Weslife albums that usually take a massive drop exactly on the week following christmas (7-20 this week).
January 7, 200719 yr To be fair on Westlife, their Greatest Hits album is back in the charts at #28 up 4 places
January 7, 200719 yr I was certain the new Ordinary Boys single was going to flop horrifically, perhaps it could do alright next week. :o Well it's not out physically until 15th so it could do quite well, yes :cheer:
January 7, 200719 yr Well it's not out physically until 15th so it could do quite well, yes :cheer: I heard a bit of it on Popworld yesterday, it didn't sound too bad. B)
January 7, 200719 yr Hopefully the album will climb too :D Imo it's the worst track on it and it was the only one I didn't like when I first got it.
January 7, 200719 yr 56 Snoop Doggy Dogg I Wanna Love You; Universal (U) 74 Cast Of High School Musical Stick To The Status Quo; Walt Disney (E) these are new. Siedah Garrett spelt wrong as well
January 7, 200719 yr High School Musical are gonna take over the charts now aren't they - oh well, rather them than McFly
January 7, 200719 yr High School Musical are gonna take over the charts now aren't they - oh well, rather them than McFly i was hoping they would have more singles in the 75 after the show was shown primetime. however seemed all the old radio hits won that battle for chart places.
January 7, 200719 yr Madonna in the Charts: Hung Up #154 (RE) Jump #191 (-54) TIC #106 (+21) COADF #42 (+9)
January 7, 200719 yr Does anyone think that any of these re-entries, particulary those in the top 40 will climb next week. Will the exposure of charting help? I'd be interested to see what "Chasing Cars" does next week. Edited January 7, 200719 yr by Sound-Bite
January 7, 200719 yr I don't know, to be honest. I can't see Snow Patrol climbing into the top 5, but you never know
January 7, 200719 yr When I watched High School Musical I was sure that they sung "Stick To The Stuff You Know" instead of "Stick to the status quo". I only watched it once and the song´s stuck in my head!
