I saw a Tik Tok today with an Irish radio DJ who interviewed Jade (the interview will be out soon) and he replied to a comment that basically suggests 'It Girl' is nothing more than a buzz, promo bit at the moment...

 

I'm thankful if true tbh. I do enjoy what I've heard of it (all 27 seconds or whatever of it lmao), but I do think it sounds more like a great, fun album intro track and less like a single!

Down to 19 on Spotify today with 229k streams

 

To be fair, streams from 16-20 are quite close. Hoping it gets radio support next week and gets added to a few more playlists after NMF to keep it stable

I guess it was enivitable, I just hope it stays top 20 and doesn't keep falling.

Do we think it’ll be 5 officially tomorrow? Hope it hasn’t dropped to 6. Also hope it has some longevity, would love if it this week wasn’t its peak but we shall see I guess

Official charts have just posted a new update and this is currently still at 5! Jimin is up to 8 though due to the itunes sales so hopefully he doesn’t rise anymore. It would be a shame if she dropped to #6 last minute, i wish we knew the gap between 5 and 6!

Why are OCC making this a JADE vs Jimin battle? It’s really pissing me off :lol: :/

If it overtakes her I’ll be fuming 😂

I do think she could slip to 7/8 come Friday.

 

Houdini is close at 6, Dasha is a lot higher on all streaming platforms and then there’s the potential that Jimin could overtake as he has the full top 9 on iTunes now…

 

To be honest I’m more than happy with a top 10 debut with it staying stable.

Yeah without all of those remixes this would now be 4 on itunes so it has fell a little bit.

 

Hopefully her fans see this and have a last minute itunes campaign to get some last minute sales?

 

If it does fall to 8 then that’s still a great debut! It would just be a shame as this could’ve debuted a lot higher but i’m sure her team have a plan for it now they know it’s looking to be a hit

Has anybody figured the video out completely? I get the song and the summary of the video, and a lot of the first half. But some specifics are still doing my head in.

Is the 2nd blonde Jade same as the first that got replaced by Naive/brunette Jade? Is the red-haired Jade an imagination of brunette Jade, or did she replace brunette? Were the other girls with the brunette representing her band mates?

I suppose the re-chewed gum and spittle drinking were added to heighten the chaos even more!
