I just saw a good portion from the video… it's amazing! I expected it to be much more camp, but it's actually very artsy and NOTHING like anything LM has done in the past. She's obviously got a clear vision about her place in the music industry and she's not playing around. There's a dancing angels scene that is so beautiful and eerie. Also not a glossy affair at all, it's very INTERVIEW magazine…

Everything about her career so far sounds like she has a very clear vision of who she wants to be as an artist and that’s why I don’t think “chart success” on the singles chart will matter as much for her as it will for the others.

 

I’m so hyped for her release. Give us those zany and “messy” bops!!!

I am trying to keep my expectations low, but this is very exciting. She is arguably the best member of the group.

Early signs indicate it is a well thought out release leading to Jade achieving the biggest Little Mix solo hit.

Knowing that this song is likely to be a SYCO diss, this latest shot of the video that JADE just shared is giving Leona Lewis - Spirit OG cover vibes... I don't know if it was intentional or whether it was just a generic close up of the performers face etc... but it wouldn't surprise me if it was intentional due to the SYCO connection. (Yes, it's highly likely to be more the latter of it just being a generic close up shot, I know - but it's still interesting "food for thought")

I really hate radio promo. It just feels pointless (not just for LM but for other artists too). But woo for content I guess!

Admittedly, I jumped the gun a lil on this and my post was based on the title of the video etc… and the assumption it’d go the same way as the other LM solo interviews have done. But I think due to this being a big station in the US they won’t focus as much on the LM stuff as the UK stations perhaps might.

 

However, I agree. The interview was really good! She’s so charismatic, personable and likeable. So funny too! Ugh I love her so much! :wub:
