All eyes on Taylor this week as her latest album impacts the singles chart, with Fortnight featuring Post Malone set to debut at #1. Official Charts Report

Taylor Swift’s Official Chart takeover with The Tortured Poets Department begins today. The US superstar is set to secure her fourth UK Number 1 single with Fortnight ft. Post Malone.

The opening track and first official single from the album, Fortnight would join Taylor's other UK chart-toppers; Look What You Made Me Do (2017), cardigan (2020) and Is It Over Now? (Taylor's Version) (2023).

Two more songs from Taylor’s 11th studio album track for Top 3 debuts, too; The Tortured Poets Department (2) and So Long, London (3).

For the breaking news on what impact The Tortured Poets Department will have on the Official Albums Chart, check back tomorrow from 5pm for the Official Chart Update in what will no doubt be a massive week for Tay and all her tortured poets.

US singer-songwriter Mark Ambor’s breakthrough single Belong Together could see a rise this week, predicted to jump one to Number 12.

David Guetta & OneRepublic’s I Don’t Wanna Wait hopes to vault seven into the Top 20 for the first time (18).

So Fortnight is set to be #1, will Taylor also have #2 and #3?

Hozier is still going strong so holding on to #2 is possible but we’ll see how Taylor tracks during the week

I can see Hozier heading towards a symmetrical chart run with 8-4-1-1-4 this week. Taylor’s definitely occupying the top 3.

Fortnight staying the top track for a while is assumed, and I think the title track will also lead in front of the other album songs sales wise.

The next few aren't too far from each other though, we could have a few weeks of 3-out, 5-out, 3-x-7, etc. as different tracks overtake streaming but the OCC rules only allow the Top 3?

I think Taylor likely has #1 in the bag now but getting the whole top 3 will be difficult with how well Hozier is still doing, she'd need to have 3 songs all having similar first week sales to 'Anti-Hero' - I think I'd predict her to get 1, 3 and 4 again.
Would say Sabrina has a good shot at 1 next week. This week aside from 1 is hard to tell it looks like a Taylor top 3 for sure
Would say Sabrina has a good shot at 1 next week. This week aside from 1 is hard to tell it looks like a Taylor top 3 for sure

You really think Sabrina might overthrow Hozier in the next week?

Yeah, with Taylor and the huge streams for Hozier, I think it’s looking like Sabrina is going to get a ‘Greedy’ type long running top 3 hit at best with ‘Espresso’.
Taylor Swift is definitely scoring another chart double on Friday, with fortnight probably being her 4th UK number 1 song. Probably another two top 5 tracks for her on Friday aswell. Because of this cruel summer will exit the charts but hopefully will return if it’s still getting solid streaming numbers
Perrie looks to be coming for that 10-38 chart run. :(

Little Mix aren't very good at doing solo singles since they always fall after they debuted.
