April 28, 20241 yr An anthem , her signature song (arguably). Not in my personal top 20 , maybe because its so popular outside the fanbase. I wanted this to be the closing song to the Celebration tour.
April 29, 20241 yr It is her best single for me, its one of those iconic songs and i think i enjoy it more the older it gets. I dont ever link like a prayer and Kylies Hand on your heart together in that they were both charting at the same time as hand on your heart was 35 years old last week both great songs in such different ways. There's quite a handful of songs I prefer so it probably ranks to the lower end of my Top 10, but it is one of her best. Rousing, uplifting, uniting - a true anthem. Of the many live performances Madonna's done for 'Like a Prayer', I think the mash-up with 'Feels Like Home' is my favourite: eEVx-6cVlzQ

July 30, 2024Jul 30 Madonna's "Like A Prayer" earned its biggest streaming day of all-time on Spotify on July 29 with over 1.07 million streams across all versions. :clap: They really need a way of combining all versions into one so it can appear on individual charts :drama: great numbers regardless!

Agreed that it would be good if all versions were combined, I think the Celebration version is just an edited down version of the one that appears on the Like a Prayer album; The Immaculate Collection version is at least a slightly remixed (although I think the numbers across all three could be combined if they really wanted). July 30, 2024Jul 30 Author Madonna's "Like A Prayer" earned its biggest streaming day of all-time on Spotify on July 29 with over 1.07 million streams across all versions. It was actually slightly higher than this: 1,113,476 (861,088 from 'Celebration', 216,991 from 'The Immaculate Collection' and 35,397 from the album 'Like a Prayer'). It replaces 'Popular' as Madonna's daily most streamed songs (after 423 days of 'Popular' being #1).
