August 12, 2024Aug 12 LAP is now her unofficial biggest sellar sue to years of good streams! Into The Groove was in terms of sales.
August 12, 2024Aug 12 Author It will automatically receive a reset if it gets a 25% increase but the label can request one.
August 12, 2024Aug 12 Hopefully it hits the 25% increase, i call myself a casual madonna fan at best but like a prayer is a song i will always be happy to see get more and more success.
August 12, 2024Aug 12 Author Maybe it’s just songs under 3 years old than can be automatically reset. Idk the rules are complicated!
August 12, 2024Aug 12 It doesnt help that they change the rules whenever it suits aswell and that makes it even harder to figure out.
August 16, 2024Aug 16 Author Album and ‘Celebration’ versions have been combined although they appear to have lost 7m streams (its showing as 473m when combined streams were 480m the previous day).
August 16, 2024Aug 16 I think it is now thanks to streaming, although it used to be Vogue and I think Hung Up then 4 Minutes in turn became her biggest worldwide sellers at the time. It was 'Into The Groove' pre-streaming! That was the closest she had to a million seller at like 880k or something.
August 16, 2024Aug 16 This is so annoying. A return to the top 40 would be so deserved :snif: And a return to the Top 40, did happen!!
August 16, 2024Aug 16 Re-enters at #27! It's been reset :cheeseblock: I AM SO HAPPY IT MANAGED IT! what an eternal masterpiece of a song <3
August 16, 2024Aug 16 Author From Music Week: Today (August 16) is Madonna’s 66th birthday, and following the release of a new Battle Royale mix – as featured in new Marvel superhero film Deadpool & Wolverine – her 1989 No.1 smash Like A Prayer is released from ACR and ends a 35-year exile from the chart, re-entering at No.27 (15,200 sales). The other hit resurrected by Deadpool & Wolverine - *NSync’s Bye Bye Bye – drifts 12-13 (21,507 sales).
August 16, 2024Aug 16 Didn't get to listen to the chart show today but scrolled through the thread and it was a literal jaw-drop-hands-over-mouth moment when I saw Like a Prayer was back in the Top 40. So pleased.
