May 9, 20241 yr There's a few ropey vocal moments for Aiko which is a shame as the studio version is one of my absolute faves, but she's really pulled it together and I hope it pays off for her! The revamp definitely makes it work better for the stage.
May 9, 20241 yr Author I think Aiko has the most improvement :o Much much better breath control and that note at the end is AMAZING
May 9, 20241 yr okay I have not rated 'Pedestal' before but that sorta won me round towards the end. Not the best rock song here by any means but decent
May 9, 20241 yr Omg. I was ready for Aiko to completely bomb (the studio version is easily my fave)... But that was actually GOOD. Renewed hope it can qualify now!
May 9, 20241 yr very impressive vocal and staging for Switzerland, I don’t think they quite deserve to win out of the main contenders still but can definitely see the song getting a lot of points on both sides of jury and public Czechia hopefully they manage to qualify, any rocky entries are welcome Malta, ok but it’s been done before a lot. The other two, meh I hope they don’t qualify
May 9, 20241 yr Petra? She said “if you know all the words (to the songs that came last) then you are truly a homose…. Eurovision fan”
May 9, 20241 yr well this France song is very suitably dramatic will probably be a points hoover as there’s not many stand out ballads this year
May 9, 20241 yr I'm not counting out France, it's providing a good amount of balance against the rest of the craziness this year (as much as I love the craziness).
May 9, 20241 yr I could see that the French performer was probably talented... but I really didn't care for the song at all :/
