June 10, 20241 yr Magnetica has to be one of the most undeserved eliminations ever, I’d probably have had Lula and Ruby in the bottom, maybe Norma if they were weighting the runway that much. If they were Magnetica certainly should have been saved! If anything, that lipsync screamed double shantay at the very least. I am glad Lula didn’t go though as I love her so far.
June 16, 20241 yr Leona Winter and Lula Strega having a mother off, they didn’t have to serve this hard. Also thought Misty was great this episode with her designed look but personality wise she is kind of just there for me
June 22, 20241 yr So apparently she’s far right and did blackface let me retract that :lol: Ruby was absolutely robbed this week, Leona’s Rusical I thought was a bit spotty (second half she was missing words etc) but she had way too big of a part where I feel like whoever did that probably would have struggled and probably would have won as it anchored the whole thing. It kind of felt like she’s a big name and they wanted to give her a win to cement her as a contender so just gave her this where it was a toss up and a lot of people did well but she was about 5th best for me :lol: She did definitely win that lipsync but it should have been Filip and Ruby or Misty, maybe even Lula. This is kind of falling foul of the season 3 curse that UK, Italia and España did tbh, the judging has been a bit iffy (last week did have the right winner) and idk the cast just isn’t hugely giving, there’s the obvious few highlights then what feels like a lot of filler and it’s watchable for sure but season 2 was so top tier (like possibly the best international season imo) that I guess anything would feel like a step down. I do really like the Nicky phone twist though that’s kind of genius, hopefully it gets used even more in future episodes and shakes things up a bit.
June 24, 2024Jun 24 yes this season is leaving me cold. the rusical was completely limp and boring, nobody is standing out from the cast either. ruby is by far my fav and she’s doing objectively the worst lol

July 6, 2024Jul 6 Just caught up on Snatch Game and they don’t give a shit about Misty do they :lol: I do understand how Ruby won, her Isabelle Adjani was amazing but I think if we take both Smatch Games into account Misty did the best. Really it could have been a double win since they made them do two characters, Misty based on Lolo and Ruby for Isabelle. I’m glad Ruby broke out though, despite her not doing well up to now I feel like she has such winner energy, one of those you’re rooting for even if she doesn’t do well because she’s got such a spark that draws you to her. Lula is my winner though, I’ve loved seeing her grow from a muted start, being a bit reserved, and now she’s nailed both a Rusical and Snatch Game, I thought she’d be more of a looks queen but she’s proving she can do it all.

July 20, 2024Jul 20 Odd ending to the series. They did kind of do Filip dirty judging wise but what in terms of arcs and the journey they had, it feels really unsatisfying when we saw Lula kill the entire season of starting off iffy for two episodes, and Ruby had an upward trajectory, Filip deserved two wins for Rusical and Talent imo but then just did average at everything else, never been bad as such (even Snatch Game, she was the second worst but was still fine), but she felt more like someone who could win All Stars in time than a winner for a main season now. She did do the best in the finale though, so eh idk. I saw spoilers that her and Ruby were top 2 as I’ve kind of checked out and ended up looking, and for some reason I had a feeling she would win though :lol:
