March 6Mar 6 Author Yeah, I haven't heard it, will listen to the album in 58 minutes to exact, but "Gaga doing Swift" doesn't sound like a good idea.
March 6Mar 6 It sounded great to me on my first listen :o I'll see how it sounds tomorrow on my first proper listen~

March 7Mar 7 Oh she just doesn’t miss for me! It’s very 80s for me, the production is incredible! I can’t wait to dive into this properly tomorrow! First listen rating:Disease - 8.0Abracadabra - 10.0Garden of Eden - 9.5Perfect Celebrity - 8.0Vanish Into You - 7.5Killah - 7.0 (love the instrumental on this)Zombieboy - 8.5LoveDrug - 9.0How Bad Do U Want Me - 9.0Don’t Call Tonight - 8.5Shadow Of A Man - 10.0The Beast - 5.5Blade Of Grass - 6.0Die With A Smile - 9.0Abracadabra was a brilliant single choice. Garden of Eden, LoveDrug, HBDUWM and especially Shadow Of A Man are stand outs so far. Album rating: 9/10 😁
March 7Mar 7 Oh wow but this is actually her best album since her debut. I am just over half way through and I am OBSESSED with everything so far. They could all be singles.
March 7Mar 7 First Listen Rating:08.0 Disease > I got over this fairly quickly. I bop to it and enjoy it when it's on, I just don't go back to it much at all anymore. <09.0 Abracadabra > Bop. Definitely the smartest single choice pre-album. <08.5 Garden of Eden > I'll love this with more plays. It's a bop. <08.0 Perfect Celebrity > Need more time with this but I like it! It's not particularly polarising or anything, I just need to become familiar with it. <07.5 Vanish Into You > Got better as it went on, but not sure why this is the focus track... <06.0 Killah > I see what she was going for with this but it's not really my thing. Good for what it was though. <07.5 Zombieboy > That middle-8 is SO melodic and classic Gaga! Loved that. But the song as a whole will need time to grow on me. <07.0 LoveDrug > Will likely grow on me. It's just kinda "there" for me amongst what we've heard so far but I like it. <09.0 How Bad Do U Want Me > Ohhhh this is soooo good! Right up my street! <08.5 Don’t Call Tonight > Really liking this on first listen! I think it could be the most underrated on the album... <08.5 Shadow Of A Man > This is going to be such a random comparison but the melody/delivery of the chorus in this reminds me of Slavko Kalezić - Space from Eurovision in 2017 - a song I love btw so it's not a bad thing!!! <07.0 The Beast > I haven't read anything about this album other than what's been on this forum but... this is already over hated! It's pretty good. <06.0 Blade Of Grass > This one isn't really hitting me. Her voice kinda grates on this track to me? <08.0 Die With A Smile > I'm not the biggest fan of this but I don't dislike it and really enjoy it when it comes on... I just don't go out my way to play it. <Solid album on first listen. Plenty of room for it to grow! No *major* standout for me just yet but nothing terrible either! Her most cohesive effort since 'Joanne' I think. The 80's flare throughout is really well utilised.

March 7Mar 7 Not a bad song on the album... 'Garden Of Eden' and 'Shadow Of A Man' are the post-album singles. Release 'Zomebieboy' as a Halloween single for sh*ts and giggles.

March 7Mar 7 Author Garden of Eden seems to be the focus track in the US. Interesting! I adore both, that and VIY so not complaining! Edited March 7Mar 7 by Sour Candy
March 7Mar 7 Some of the lyrical nuances are so clever. Perfect Celebrity referencing Diamond Heart, The Fame, Princess Die etc - she is coming full circle with this album. Honouring her career and all of its influences.I am so happy with it all
