I was just thinking here with Die With A Smile doing what’s its doing at the moment across streaming platforms could this influence team Gaga to go all out when it comes to the real lead single? I really hope LG7s lead has this sort of planning behind the rollout.

 

So far I’m actually impressed especially with the CDs being ready to ship almost straight away. Whose team has handled this release though? (Although I will say it’s shaping up to be a case of Gaga being in a strong position with the general public when the lead does drop and I think alongside Joker this is perhaps a good strategy - the stans will always be there no matter what but if she manages to win the public over with music and film pre release then the hype really will be there.

Chaos Angel is finally coming x

The chart stan in me really wants Die With A Smile and Joker to have their moments first. They’re both gonna be big projects and Die With A Smile is smashing on streams right now that I don’t know if a new release would be wise now let that fully take off have its moment, get the Joker era underway let that get its promo and flowers and then drop the album is my hope.

 

I like the way she’s teasing us though! We are almost there :cheer:

I too am happy to wait until Q1 2025. The final quarter of 2024 is going to be so busy and I'd rather a slower period for her to properly enjoy the era and its release.

January 2025 would be the preferred launch date!

I do think with Die With A Smile perhaps doing bigger numbers than what may have been anticipated they could be holding back.

 

Maybe we could get lead single this year? But maybe dropping new music early January could be what’s best. It’s looking promising that the bulk of the album is done (or maybe even the whole thing?!).

 

With Joker also having music attached though I do think we’re getting that first.

Sources tell Variety that Lady Gaga’s new album will be released in the “early months” of next year.

 

Damn, I really hoped she would just drop it at once or very soon after the lead. Hope they can avoid what happened to Dua.

Album release on 3rd of January 2025 would be absolutely perfect! Starting the year with a bang! Would also ensure a decent placing on YE lists!
